What bullshit, when it is that tight and the camera resolution and frame rate are relatively low, how can it be called. If they stop it one frame earlier, he is prob onside, how can you say for sure when the ball is played.

Until they have higher frame rates and top resolution footage, these close calls have to be ignored..

What's stupid is that you can't legally score with your hand so it shouldn't have any bearing on whether or not you're onside or offside.

Exactly. If we go back to the Liverpool goal it touched the very top of arm/shoulder and perhaps would be harsh to rule hand ball.

Yet here we are ruling out a goal for a part of the body that can’t be used for offside.

The cat is out of the bag in regards to VAR, so all we can hope for is that they take a step back during the summer and adjust it to make it more palatable. The "clear and obvious" qualification seems to be totally forgotten at times. We have obviously been the benefactor of VAR many times, but that doesn't make up for the issues it is causing to the game.
