Sporting just rescued a point against Beleneses with a penalty for a slightly harsh handball given as the clock ticked over to 94 mins (4 mins injury time indicated).

Doubted Kovac, but he's fantastic.
I think a club like Monaco/Frankfurt is perfect him right now. Where he can focus on developing his football and being competitive. The expectations at Bayern were just too high. He's still in that spot in his career that Poch was in with us. He needs to prove himself a bit.

Depending on how this Monaco spell goes I would not mind him at Spurs in the future.

Haven't been watching- is she correct?

Former Woolwich winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
Woolwich have had half-chances. They've had the better build-up play but the chances have fallen to Everton. I though they looked better on the counter-attack.
We hope it will be better in the second half. It's just the final ball, the end product
.

Any result a good one for Spurs fans.

Embarrassing yet again from VAR.

Allows a penalty when it was a clear dive, but then overrules it for a fraction of a mm offsides. Sure, it nets out well enough, but it is just the worst.

Ridiculous that they would have given the penalty if not for the iffy offside call.

They ultimately get the call right but for all the wrong reasons.

That's today's game summed up. Soft, minimal contact leading to a guy rolling on the ground to win a penalty only for it to be overturned by mm of an offside call. Stupid all around.
