But if you would like to debate a player that I have seen for what will now be almost 4 seasons feel free. He is what he is as a player (pot shot artist, loss of possession monster, but always attacking) and anyone trying to build him up to be more than that will be let down...it owuld have been moving from the frying pan into the fire going from 1 half-a-player in Eriksen or Dele to another half-a-player in Bruno. We don't need luxury players/specialists we need footballers. We can't even keep fucking possession or string 3 passes together now and Bruno would not have helped this. Take a look at his all around game and you will see a player lacking.

Watch football games and not goal vids and stats and Bruno's halo will tarnish. Fuck it, just read his fucking player thread on Red Cafe and you will see that though he is the best they've got he is far from ideal. Didn't want that at Spurs because after 3 fucking years of shit play folks can't even get past Dele getting the fuck outta here. Why bring in another half-a-player to begin more cult worship? Thankfully Mou came to a reasonable conclusion and we don't have this shitty player and will be getting rid of the other shitty player.

It’s funny I’m just catching up to this thread, right on your point. You’re absolutely bang-on, because as I am reading this Bruno has given away possession and Man Utd have conceded as a direct result.
 
Yeah - I seem to watch Bruno everytime Man Utd are on and he disappoints me every game until he just pops up with a goal or assist.

His overall game seems pretty poor. Lacks the awareness of the great number 10s, his off the ball work isn't the greatest, he loses possession a fair bit, and not through trying to make hollywood passes.

But everything goes through him - it's amazing that teams don't just stick a player on him. He's not elite.
 
the wall encroaching is still one of the things that pisses me off the most in football. even with the stupid white line! Players are supposed to stand behind the fucking white line, they don't they stand on it, by the time the FK is taken the wall has already inched up past the line!

Refs do nothing! pisses me off so much
 
Rashford is obv a nice bloke but as a striker at the top level he's nowhere near good enough. misses far too many 1 on 1s
