I remember when pointing out that he’s clearly better than Kulu was tantamount to heresy.
I think when Kulu was at his best they were comparable, possibly Kulu slightly better. However, I go agree that people on here are incredibly childish when it comes to criticising our own players.

Can't seem to offer neutral opinions on player without a group of people taking it personally.

Criticism is fair. When certain posters spend more time criticizing a select one or two players than they do supporting the team, you have to wonder why they enjoy the sport.

Saka looking good though

Think he's been quiet by his standards, as have Martinelli and Odegaard.

Feels a bit like Arteta is stuck in Pep's old form while the OG has actually moved his team on a bit. They're obviously a good team but it can be a bit cutesy at times. And the dropping of Gabriel and spending so much money on Havertz instead of a proper CF screams getting too clever for his own good.

Hope I’m wrong but can see the Scum winning this

Lacking a focal point up front is always the way this kind of football runs aground.

Still can’t get my head around the Havertz one

Woolwich look really meh opening two games.

Havertz is an anonymous CF and an anonymous CM.
They've got a lot of technique and good intricate play to create a small handful of chances but the defence... basically being bailed out by Saliba and Palace's poor forwards.

Arteta definately going for more P&P this season and a lot of height in his team, will probably make Woolwich look at bit less attractive to watch but and the play is a little more predictable, will be interesting to see if they can transition last seasons form to this one.
