I'm not surprised that he's scored long shots for England. I'm more surprised he hasn't scored more for us. He's scored loads (literally) of belters throughout his loan moves.

Dull game against an unbelievably poor opposition, not sure what you were hoping England to achieve when they're playing against a team that literally has ten players in their box at times. Rooney should have scored at least one of his through balls and Lallana's goal wasn't offside... Roll on the mighty Estonia.

I'll never understand why we don't work to shoot from distance more often against dodgy goalies in these sorts of games. Shoot on target from 30 yards, if it goes in great, if it doesn't then have three guys charging down the goalie for rebounds.
Went to watch Wales v Bosnia tonight. Pretty good game and a good atmosphere. Got a tournament ticket for the whole qualifiers so I'll be going again on Monday for the game against Cyprus!
