Davide Ancelotti to be announced new Rangers manager on Friday, apparently. He's been assistant coach to his famous father but I think this is his first proper gig. So similar situation to Ryan Mason.

Rayan Cherki...?

He's VERY tall...
I imagine he'll be good at set pieces!

Geordies ain’t far off a title challenge. Their midfield of Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton combined with an attack of Isak, Gordon and Mbeumo would be difficult. They need 2 or so top defenders on top, Ghuei would be one of them I guess.

Another striker too I think to help Isak out.

Mbuemo will go somewhere though and unfortunately it wont be to us. Such a shame.

Guehi to us though please, although I think the most likely place for him is back to the chavs.

Woolwich about to drop 50m on a Zubimendi... is he really any good... Last 4 seasons: 184 games, 10 goals, 8 assists so a goal contribution every 10 games. Watched him a few times, 100 - 150, 5 yard passes backwards and sideways with the odd tactical foul to break up a counter attack against poorer teams... and against better teams just screens the defence... maybe Partey is about to be casted in the lead role of Mean Machine 2.

Is his job to create goals and assist?

I mean they've both been assistants for a while now it seems their getting their first head coach/managers jobs.

Mason's had a string of managers to learn from. at Spurs and Ancelotti has been going to different clubs to assist his father up until now.
I knew what you meant, and I agree...
It's time Ryan stepped out on his own...
Could be the next Scott Parker!

Plus James Mason was a great actor... But a rubbish football coach!!
