Gazza has been removed so I assume this is the updated EPL squad.
It was possible to include Marsh so as he wasn't safe to say that's his lot at THFC.

Sure but what I am saying is that system highlights all his weaknesses, so unlikely that he looks like a good player in a system that asks him to do things he can't.

I guess if the game is imagine if our players miraculously gain skills they didn't have sure, but that isn't what happened with Salah or Ings. Both guys look better in their new spots because of the fit for each one. They didn't all of a sudden do things they couldn't before.

Which is why I said Winks could look good for a team like Burnley, could be one of their key guys. At Leeds, not so much would not fit into what you are looking for.

So Winks should be perfect for us then ?

Anyway, I'm sympathetic to that window, and honestly to Jose's attitude in that moment. That is my only season supporting Spurs where we made an honest fist of it on four fronts and acted like silverware above all was the target.

Scout better and fund the operation sufficiently to balance the short and long terms and you'll be getting somewhere.

I think we went for Rodon because Jose couldn't get Kim for cheap. Only PEH was a decent signing....

It just shows how bad Levy/ENIC has been........
Jose’s tweet about wanting KMJ when he was at Fenerbahce is bullshit. Jose wasn’t our manager when KMJ was at Fenerbahce. KMJ was playing in the Chinese Super League. 10m for a Chinese League player is ridiculous— no-one has paid it. As it is, the final transfer fee to Fenerbahce was €3m.

I believe Rodon was bought as a result of our failed effort to get Skriniar.

Yep, have to agree.

Our scouting and recruitment has been utter disgrace.
Not as if we wouldnt have been spending money - since the summer we made no signing, we have invested quite heavily. Just with pretty shit results.

We all know that sides like Brighton now or Leicester from 4 years ago would have got brilliant squad with such investment levels. But we burned money with likes of Ndomelly, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Doherty and it starts to seem that with Richie as well (though too early to make full conclusions).

No surprises, new signing in January in blue

24 players in our PL squad (plus u21 Sarr) so its perfectly possible to sign a 'free agent' Ben Foster as a goalkeeper.

He's probably need a bit of training, to be a viable alternative to Forster ..... and I'd hate to explain to Austin and Whiteman, although with about 20 first team loan games experience and 30 first team loan games experience its pretty obvious Foster's experience gives him a huge advantage, not to mention he was playing PL games with Watford last season.

We don't have that space in CL squad as Sarr does not qualify as a List B u21 player. Not sure we'd get permission to include Foster as an 'emergency GK' but no harm in asking.
