Not every player within that weird imponderable called potential can realise whatever that unknown may be but as a club we cannot afford to keep holding on for a point in time that may never occur.
On Sarr, I thought we might see a Vieira-light, because of the guy's physique and running power but in the however many years and regardless of the number of managers, I don't see progress. At least nothing tangible and that gives hope for the future.
And as a club and if we want to move away from a sense of it being okay to always be waiting for 'potential' to be realised we need to start cutting our losses far sooner than we appear willing to do.
Sarr would most probably be better off moving on and so would we, but if we were to be relegated that would possibly put that on hold.
