Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You gave it a 'funny'...... Not a 'like' cos he's done well......

Evidently you'd rather dig our players out than enjoy them doing well.

What dig?

If it was a dig I would have given it a disagree.

Maybe instead of dreaming about and creating done BS narrative of me being “triggered” you just ask me my feelings on it or better yet just stop obsessing about me.

It was odd to bring me up for no reason.

I just gave this post a 'funny'.... I'm not having a dig; honest. :freund:

So many of our players have more to offer in possession than what they were able to show playing for Mourinho, it stands to reason that PEH might be among them.

I also think we ran him into the ground last year in many respects. He played 53 games for us and was constantly being pinned back to add cover to the back line. In a different system and a break every now and then I think we will see him thrive again.

I’m under no delusion he’s going to turn into Michael Carrick, but he’s a useful player as what he is, and even being a little better with the ball at his feet would make him really good.

He and a fit, unleashed Ndombele as a partnership in front of a back 3 (where a classic 6 can be less essential) is the dream version of next season.

He is very useful when adopt defensive formation against top sides. I think he is a very good buy. However some of his limitations mentioned are valid.

I will prefer to play Skipp and keep PEH as a squad player. Some argued better to loan Skipp out to continue development. Why not develop him by playing him? He is already a better all round player than PEH.

Why do people always do this with young up and comers and undervalue the guys who have been doing it for a while? Skipp had a great year in the championship. He’s not played against EPL competition consistently ever. While he was playing in a completely lower division, PEH was playing every minute in the EPL. Playing Man City and Liverpool is different than whatever championship team. Over 50 games some of his limitations might start to show too. He doesn’t play for England. PEH is one of the best players for a team at the Euros who has made it out of their group. We always act like people who we haven’t seen much must be better then the people who we see all the time…

PEH has taken on the responsibility of the Danish team after the awful Eriksen event and in doing so has upped his game.
So far he has attained 3 assists and taken responsibility of some free kicks on top of talking and gee-ing up the team.
Good luck to him, shame he isn't English.
