Played better today than he ever has for spurs. Hopefully generated more interest off the back of it.
His performance was exactly how he plays for Spurs.
The context is completely missing, as we don't play, nor do we want to play like Denmark. Denmark were by far the better team than England, with PEH at its heart but now look in isolation at Denmark's performance and how they played, their style of football etc
indeed he plays plenty of strong games for us. He has alot of mistakes in him when asked to play DM but i've always regarded him as a technically good player. Better than the likes of Connor Gallagher. Just needs to move to a club more suited to him, not ange ball
Yep. Still getting my head around what Ange is specifically looking for from our central mid, but it would be a player who can take the ball under pressure and not lose it, a player who can carry/progress the ball and one who can pass within two touches, off the ball they need to be athletic and mobile.
He's dependable and always works his socks off, he's just not the profile of midfielder Ange is looking for.
PEH is a very good player and why he has a lot of interest from a lot of Clubs around Europe. He's very key in our rebuild because we should be getting a decent fee for him.
He's not looked a technically good player for us at all though? He can't play under pressure, can't play on the turn and his basic passing leaves a lot to be desired/is poor - technically good players don't have those negatives to their game.
He can pick out a peach of a creative pass from time to time and can time runs in to the box/find space around the box to shoot/has a good shot on him.
I've never thought he's the worst player we've had, there was a period under Conte I think it was where he was excellent for us.
It's funny how some of our better performances last season come when Hojberg either started or came off the bench. He's a 7/10 player most weeks.
His time with us must be up though, one year left on contract, isn't suited to this type of football week in week out.

It feels like buying clubs are basing their opinions on internet Spurs fans online comments about him.
He's a better player than many of us give him credit for and, I strongly believe, is more offensive minded than we have allowed him to be in his Spurs time.
We have three players (Bentancur, Sarr & Biss) who whilst not perfect are closer to the profile than PEH , which is why they get picked when available.
He has a year left on his contract, I'd be surprised if we get much more than 15m
Got high hopes for Bergvall but it's only hope. Either way Hojbjerg is utterly unsuited to the football we want to play, ( thankfully)time to get rid.
