Mr P (obvs!)
Gary Mabbutt, what a lovely, genuine guy he is.
David Howells and Clive Allen, both on a train to a game, but not at the same time.
Very happy to chat and share memories.
John Moncur was friends with the guy who used to give me a lift to WHL and we dropped him off at a game one Boxing Day game.
Was in Peter Pan's playground at Southend with my two year old nephew and noticed a very tall, blonde, handsome guy, looked like vikingesque - then I realised it was actually our Erik the Viking. He hadn't been with us that long, and think he was a bit surprised that anyone recognized him. We had a photo and he was so nice.
Only met Daveed at Player of the Year dances and book signings, but women just melt in his presence, he is that gorgeous, he knows it but a real charmer.
Sat at a dinner table with Ray Clemence, Terry Fenwick and Razor Ruddock, they were quite funny and entertaining, TBF, as can't always be easy to spend a few hours making small talk with people you don't know.
Met John Gorman and Ian Moores in Malta, as they were staying at the resort where my mum worked. John was very friendly and chatted away with him and his wife, whereas Ian was a lot quieter (probably couldn't get a word in edgeways), think he was a bit shy.
Keith Burkinshaw in the Supporters club in Malta a couple of years ago - what a gent and had some great stories.
Last but certainly not least was Chris Houghton, he was the friend of a work friend's boyfriend. Again, such a lovely guy too.
Would have loved to have met disco Benny, he seemed to be quite an intelligent and down to earth guy. Also Martin Jol would be high on my list, what we did to him still leaves a sour taste, but he still loves us - what a man!

Spoke with George Best on the phone when I was a kid, met Gazza at my aunt and uncles wedding (he was in the bar in the same hotel the reception was, let me nutmeg him bless him, what a legend), had a couple of drinks with Ledley King at my mates wedding, he’s good friends with him but it was the first time we were ever meeting as my group I know him through are different to the group he knows Ledley through. Served Defoe a few mineral waters at the sports bar I used to work where he’d come and play pool once every now and then and met Carrick in Edwards where in my drunk state I told him he needs to get forward a little more.

Old man was a cabbie so knew Mickey Hazard and used to get us tickets to the games through him. Overall I’ve been pretty fortunate when it comes to meeting footballers, in particular Tottenham boys.

Me at the front in the black tie with my cousins, brother, sister and Gazza, if only I was fully able to appreciate the footballing icon he was back then:

I met Dolphin in 2018 at Charles de Gaulle airport. Not sure why he was there but he was with a ridiculously attractive female. He caught me staring (at him), I then waved and said “hi Nacer” then he walked over. I was rock hard at that point. Rock. Fucking. Hard.

Lovely chap. Had plenty of time to chat once he knew I was a Spurs fan. He said he loved his time at the club, loved the fans, made loads of friends etc. Offered to take a photo and sign an autograph even though I didn’t ask which I thought was a nice touch. Shook my hand and off he went.

He wouldn’t let me sniff his girlfriend’s hair though which I thought was a little bit rude.

I forgot to add that when we went to Steve Archibald's pub in Bethnal Green for my birthday, his dad called him up and we had a long chat, great guy.
I've been very lucky to have these memories, didn't realise how many I had met until now.
In a few years time, would love to chew over the fat with Poch but not yet, still too raw.

Have been very lucky to go to the Training Centre and met the whole squad in 2016. Harry Kane was a class act but they were all decent and gave time to chat and sign a few things. Not exactly a social occasion but it was fun nonetheless.

I met Chas and Dave (and the drummer bloke) in a pub in Kenilworth once.

Does this count?

PS. They were fantastic blokes, we talked music, Spurs, and Everton. 👍

I played for Spurs youth when Steve Sedgley, Paul Moran & David Howells were also playing. I knew Sedgley and Moran before joining Spurs as my School used to play theirs (Albany) + we all played for the other Sat/Sun Clubs of the time then, namely Enfield Rangers, Enfield Chase, Cuffley etc.. Couldn't stand Sedgely at the time it used to kick off frequently between the two of us.

With the above group there was plenty of flat sharing with loads of gooners, Kevin Campbell, Paul Rocastle (I'm still best mates with one from this crowd to this day & Paul's best friend right up to his passing a couple of years ago). Ian Wright who I met much later on (after I hung my boots up) as this group would meet every year to remember Paul.

My last days playing as semi-pro were for Enfield when Graham Roberts became manager, he was shite.

I've met and spent some time talking to:
Jennings, Glenn Hoddle, Peter Taylor, Mickey Hazard, Paul Miller, John Pratt. Mark Falco who I met away at Palace was great, singing and cheering all game, surprised me as he doesn't seem to do the old Spurs legends circuit that much but he was a real laugh all game, went for a drink after too!

When we trained at Cheshunt & Mill Hill it was a piece of piss to meet the players, either to watch a session and then when they stopped that you could still get access to the car park so basically a case of everyone who played in those teams but didn't name-check them as never spoke to them.

Lastly, when I was about 11 I did a milk round one summer and on my round (around The Ridgeway, Enfield) was Steve Archibald, Garth Crooks & Chris Houghton. They all lived in separate houses but next to each other opposite The Sun pub. Got a great tip from all of them on my last week but it was Chris Houghton who was absolutely brilliant with me and would have a kick about in his front garden almost every week, lovely man.

Oh, almost forgot me and a few of mates smashed up Charlie Nicholas's mini, with him in it, whilst at a red light on Windmill Hill, Enfield. He would drive it in the hope of going incognito, mainly avoiding the old bill as he was almost certainly drink driving at the time. Cunt.

Both top boys. King surprisingly is quiet. Very laid back
Yes Lesley is a decent bloke. Met him at the Haringey Remembrance Day service in Wood Green,he was representing the club,a few years back. Lovely bloke.
I have also met Terry Naylor, top drawer ,one of your own.
Graham Roberts,decent fella.
Steve Perryman, still very passionate about the club and again,a decent bloke.
Gerry Armstrong, lived on my estate in Hoddesdon and use to get us cigerettes when we were under age.
John Pratt,Cliff Jones and Mark Falco met all 3together in Cardiff. Not a bad word about any of them.
Jamie Redknapp, not everyone's cuppa(to say the least),but was a decent very self aware bloke when I met him at work.
Berbatov... Grade A c**t!. Arrogant prick.
Robbie Keane. Full of himself, but was ok with me.
Gary Mabbut ok,but i thought he was going through the motions when talking to fans. Just my opinion.
Michael Brown. Lovely down to earth bloke, who seemed more interested.in talking to me and a mate than talking about himself. Shook our hands and thanked us for being spurs fans.
Pat Jennings. A true gent. The first spurs player I met and probably the one I have met the most.
EDIT it was Michael Dawson, not Brown I met. Losing the plot 😊

In no particular order
Roberts
Hoddle
Perryman
Ardiles
Villa

And a young CB we had for a while, we were having a kick about in the park and he was a mate of a mate. He joined in but very tentatively. He didn't run and as soon as he got the ball he passed it on. Can't remember his name but I think he made a few 1st team appearances... Could of been Tuttle?

Well, played in same football teams as Harry Kane and Andros Townsend so those.

David Beckhams parents used to live in the round next to mine and me and a few mates met him and got his signature in the 90s sometime.

I can't begin to explain how much the apostrophe in this thread title offends me.

I think some of you English folks purposely fuck with your own language just to test us provincials.
