So if Conte is on £15 million a year that’s £41k a day, and you wonder why levy is stalling ? If he waits till next Monday rather than announcing today that’s saved him £410k
The tweets earlier (I know, I know) said €15m a year after tax, so Im guessing thats substantially more as a base salary.

Plus €2.5m in bonuses.

Really cant say Levy isnt putting his money where is mouth is on this, could easily have got a manager in on a third of that....

Anyone who thinks all the rumors about Conte and Poch are just to get season ticket holders to renew is clueless. There's a long waiting list for season tickets and, even if Mickey Mouse was our target (is he available, by the way?), they'd get snapped up anyway.

So stop with the conspiracy theories already.

Fantastic post and i feel exactly the same. Sooner we accept we'd be better off trying to be similar to the likes of Dortmund rather than the Aldi version of Chelsea the better. Most fans agreed we needed a complete rebuild and now Conte is supposedly coming we're seeing Ben Davies and Matt Doherty cropping up in line ups. What we need is a 2004 Arnesen/Jol 'start afresh' moment not more papering over cracks with short term fixes, both managerial and player wise.
Yes, absolutely spot on

Alaisdar was very very optimistic about conte getting the job. And he is basically the club news reporter. Let’s be patient and not melt. It will happen. Right????? :levywtf:
He seems a decent guy but he's been all over the shop with the new manager. Initially said it would be done before the season finished, then 7 to 10 days, then Poch was coming, now Conte. Not sure he has much of an idea.

I concur. Not been impressed with some of the business (players & coaches) Juve have done last few years, and there may well be a reason they’ve not renewed his contract.

I’m wondering if the Paratuci thing isn’t linked to Conte one way round or the other.

I'm not particularly enamoured with the idea of Conte either. I know he's a great manager who can get the job done, I just don't think he's a compatible fit for us right now.

I would like us to have a complete reboot.

Seems bizarre to me that Levy is trying to bring in a DOF/sporting director, and Rangnick isn’t first name on the list. The profile of project Rangnick has overseen at RB - installing a footballing philosophy and overseeing the recruitment of coaches, players and recruitment people, on reasonable budgets, added to the fact that he’s lived in the U.K. previously, screams perfect to me.

I would much rather we went down the Rangnick/young progressive coach project reboot route - gave our club some kind of identity and stuck to it for years to come (ie Ajax, Dortmund, RB type profile) than we lurch from ill-fitting big name manager to ill-fitting big name manager.

I agree with all of it

Terrible squad Juve has put together with too much relying on crippled Ronaldo, but I guess fogueres fogueres would know better if there’s anything else than Chiesa to get excited about in that group of players

Rangnick would also be my go to guy right now, and not as a coach but DoF, since there isn’t a lot to salvage from this squad, and Conte would face some of the same issues as Mourinho

Wouldn’t be so sure, pretty much anyone who wanted a season ticket could have got one at Wembley and kept it for the new stadium!
