I'd like to see Potter given the job, though I don't imagine for a second that it'll happen. Brighton are a decent watch, they just don't have goalscorers. If we keep Kane, then we wouldn't have that problem. I also think Potter would improve some of the shit in our ranks and he'd give the whole squad the confidence to play attractive football.

All joking aside I am 30 and I thought as a kid by the time I have kids we would have won the league as its bound to happen. Oh how naïve I was. I love this club and I always will its in my blood and now my son and daughters but Jesus, it is hard going.
God you was optimistic :dembelelol:
TBH if someone had said to me that I would of gone to a champions league final to watch tottenham i wouldn't believe them.
Would of thought we would of won the fa cup or 2 again by now

An American manager might work out in Germany but it would never work out here. It's impossible to take any American seriously when they talk about football. One just assumes they don't know what they're talking about. It's the same with British people talking about the NFL, it just sounds ridiculous.

The folly of youth, for some reason to an 8 year old watching the scum and United win it so comfortably season in and season out I thought fuck we will do this soon. Admittedly I had no idea what playing Gary Doherty as a striker mean at the time. Yeah the champions league final was a trip and the Semi being one of my favourite matches of all time probably suggests how low my expectations are of our club at this time.

Brighton have players that would get into our team. Dunk, White, Lampety, Bissouma. All would improve us.

I like Potter, and agree his team play great football. Add to that his master's in leadership and emotional intelligence. He'll no doubt end up at a big team, unfortunately I don't think it'll be us.

Matthias Jaissle will take March's role at Salzburg. Which debunks Glasner going there.

So I guess that he is still on the table. Even if most signs point to Ten Hag.

You’re comparing Ten Hag to Artera? The guy who never had a managerial job before Woolwich? Christ, even Lampard was in charge at Derby before Chelsea, and we all laughed at him because he was clearly out of his league.

And do you think a bunch of 20-something year olds figured out how to outclass Juventus and Madrid in the Champions League on their own? Yes, they were talented, but that doesn’t mean anything without coaching and tactics. And I guess ignore everything before Ajax, too.

I have no idea if Ten Hag will even come to Spurs or be a success, but these are facetious arguments.
Lol 😂

Arteta won the FA cup last season with a bunch of shite not bad for someone so inexperienced to take those chuckleheads to the final be the underdogs and totally outclass Chelsea on the day.

Even the woolwich can win trophies still with the dogshit teams they have had over the years

A new manager will only excite me if big changes are made above him.

At the moment, the thrill of a new manager doesn't exist because more than likely it'll still be Hitchen and Levy making the transfer decisions, and leaving the manager with players he hasn't chosen then expected to make them work his way.

It's been the same record for almost 2 decades.

Hope we stay away from Ten Hag, nothing about him is exciting. Another manager that's getting old without hardly setting a foot outside of the Netherlands. When's the last time there was a good Dutch manager in England or any of the top 5 leagues anyway? It's a dead football country
Martin Jol was class act for us
Koeman is good too and sorted the dire shit Martinez left at Everton he’s also starting to really transform Barcelona with a total rebuild
I’m not opposed to Ten Haag I just think Potter is much better choice

Do you know no team other than Man City has won a domestic cup AND finished in the Top 4 in the last 4 seasons. The clubs that win the domestic cups, other than City, are able to field stronger sides as they're not competing for the Top 4. Liverpool play reserve teams in domestic cups and sacrifice them completely. An FA Cup would be great but teams are now judged by their performance in the League and CL. Winning those is where the kudos is in modern football
