Register Lloris but no free spot - Ndombele always going to miss out.
Although not sure if we want to register Lloris if we need to buy someone in January

Ange has been deliberate in stating his goal to change the culture and how that can’t be done without actually making changes.
I think it makes a ton of sense to make a clean break from the past and keep the “leadership council” lads away from the first team. Kane’s obviously gone, Lloris said he wanted a new challenge in June, and Dier is just waiting out his last year so he can move abroad. We don’t need to reward this type of behavior. It’s detrimental to the squad to have former big personalities in the team skulking around the training ground.
I think they obviously wanted to sell Hojbjerg too for a full break from the past “leadership group” and he’ll still likely go in January.
We look revitalized with the new leadership group of Son, Maddison, and Romero. You can see how chuffed Ange is with them and they are backing it up with performances.
It may seem harsh as they are long tenured players but not registering Lloris and Dier, along with coping with Kane’s departure, and selling Hojbjerg in Jan, would be a big statement of intent that we’re in a new era and are building something different.

Agree but if you register Lloris now, its going to be embarrassing if in Jan you say to him, sorry bought another player so can't offer you a squad place now !
