Match Premier League - Home to Aston Villa - 03/11 - 2pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah that’s fair enough. I was talking overall but agree with that.

Some posters inability to recognise that 9 out of 11 wins isn’t a big problem is baffling!
I’m not one of these negative Nancy’s, but I do wonder if we have had comparatively easier fixtures over that period. Don’t think we have played any of the traditional top 6 (maybe even top 8?) away from home yet?

Galatasaray and Man City away coming up over the next 2 weeks. That will really test our mettle.

Madders’ free kick is still living rent free in my head

I don’t think so

It wasn’t boring 🥱
Dude gave a 4.83 avg rating...for a game we won 4-1 against a direct rival, a team that plays CL football where they beat Bayern.

Yeah Villa lead at HT and had hit the post before their shit goal, but we made them look good cause we were slow and devoid of ideas. Once we got our mojo back in the 2nd, they couldn't live with us.

But nope, for our friend it's not even worth 6 or 7. My oh my, he keeps going, he's gonna be the new matt1882

Emery looked as white as a sheet.

What a birthday present for him :harrylol:
Onana, Rogers and Ramsey played well, the rest were shocking & let him down big time. Including the most overrated goalkeeper ever (fuck you, Martinez) and Pau "I turned Spurs down twice" Torres...well you got humbled by Brennan & Dom you shit Spanish string bean.

Yet this has nothing to do with the original assertarion about Solanke.

Seeing as people are getting upset that their reactionary comments are getting bumped how about this...show a bit of patience once in a while and perhaps hold back your takes until the end of the match?

It's obvious that the people going early are Ange out and pretty much seeking every bit of confirmation bias just to fuel your agenda but you can't complain when your post full of drivel is bumped, just stop being a reactionary nitwit.
I don't even like voicing my thoughts whilst at the game, just seems to tempt fate. For example, in my head, I wasn't impressed with Sonny or Bren in the first half, and lo and behold, they connected to score a super goal.
I understand the frustration when things go wrong and emotions can run high, but still no reason for some of the unnecessary comments that are made. The time to judge is at the end of the game.

We’ve had United and Newcastle away so far in terms of ‘top 8’ away games

Away games against the top 6 or 8 are a free shot for us really. Teams wanting to win the league would want to pick up a point.

Man City dropped points in 4 of their games against the top 6 last season, with a freak win at Spurs for their record.

When you expect to beat the top 6 away you are a side looking at a minimum of 100 points. Be realistic.
