I have changed my mind. I was 100% against it but football as I know and love it died a very long time ago. Might as well get on the gravy train. I won't go to matches anymore though but at least some of our younger fans (under 40) might have a chance of seeing us win something.

Bring it on.

I’ve changed my mind too.

I was happy for Qatar to have a stake. But thinking about it I think nothing will change. Same high ticket prices, same desire to be a property investment company.

I want totally new owners. 100%. Not a half assed 10 or 15%.

I’m out.

It’ll probably get fucked up one way or another. It’s come to the point, in whatever we do , where it’s not a case of “if” we fuck things up but when.

We really need this ENIC curse out of our club

Rich people are weird. I remember reading about a billionaire who does nothing but have orgies with models on his private island and I just thought "Why the fuck isnt every single rich person doing this?"

They're obsessed with making money that they don't spend, I liken it to hoarding disorder.
I think that it was Bill Gates who said something along the lines of "you don't get rich by spending". Most of these ultra rich doofuses are quite frugal. They just know how and when to spend their money for maximum effect.

They built their fortunes by being frugal and smart investors.

After yesterday, I couldn't give a fuck if Harold Shipman, Ian Huntley, Rolf Harris and Thomas Partey put a consortium together. I'm sick and fucking tired of giving my money to a club that gives zero fucks about it's fans.

I'd wager their fanbase would be overwhelmingly excited by the news. While half of ours claim some mythical moral high ground and would prefer zero investment, zero trophies, and Joe Lewis
Who wouldn't be happy with that level of investment.
Our owners need to fuck off, they are achieving nothing all the while they stay in charge.
We are going backwards as a club, nobody cares, the board, the players and the manager, none of them know what to do or where the club is going.

Pretty much where I am as well.
Part of me kept thinking would turn a corner. But it isn't happening under ENiC now,if it hasn't happened in the last 22years.

Not really true.
You make money with money by spending it wisely and never missing out on opportunities (and being able to identify them)

Microsoft alone have purchased Skype, Nokia mobile, linkedin and many other companies. The reason for doing so can be for access to new markets/customers or to simply take a rival out of the game.

This is why we don't want some one to buy us with any intention of profit/business if we want to challenge.

enic could have made profit out of us if they got a few things right previously. where would we be right now if they invested shrewdly in the team when we had berbatov and keane? where would we be if they done the same when we had bale and modric? it didnt need mega money it just needed good solid recruitment nailed by people that understand football.

as you said its about spending money at the right time and taking advantage of opportunities. they didnt do this. the money they got for them 4 compared to what they could of got from regular CL football and pushing the club to be proper contenders which would of happened was a poor business/football decision.
