sh&t - he doesnt even put Radu on the LB in place of Emerson at Anfield. wtf.

he doesnt like to try.

So your solution to a LB problem is; rather than play a right footed full back at LB, you'd play a right footed CB there instead.

LOL...... This place.

his agent is doing work.
not some agents who sit on their hands.

What are we doing here......???? You're bigging up an agent for mouthing off mere weeks into the contract that he was part of his client signing......? Even though the circumstances of his signing haven't changed ONE bit?

you're stupid & has no football sense.

Mitoma is a RIGHT footed Winger. yet he plays on the LEFT.
it all depends on how good you're. You assumed Radu does not have a left foot

No you're stupid and think you have more footballing sense that you actually do.

(Btw, it's also "have" not "has", thicky.)

No... I (sensibly) assume that a FB by trade knows the position better than a CB (esp. as FB is a somewhat specialist position in this system)...... And that any handicap of playing Emerson on his opposite side will be just as problematic as playing another right sided defender on his opposite foot.

You citing wingers who are often inverted for tactical reasons in the modern game is completely irrelevant.

yeah yada yada - all that precision placement of CB LB RBs,,, and yet get done 13 goals in last 4 matches.
Losing 4 in a row.

You talk crap.

Ah bless..... Sorry if basic stuff is all a bit too high concept for you.... I didn't mean to get you all triggered.

If I was a young player, the only way I'd join spurs is if they offered a lot of money and I wasnt good enough to justify it.
You are just on point. Unbeliveable how year, after year, after year we are giving countless oportunities to bad player that fail to impress in a regular basis while we can't give fucking 10 minutes to our youngsters. And now we have a whole new generation of talents that probably won't be given any chance because we have Royal and Bryan Gil in front of them.

This is cool and all (big fan of the idea of us developing our own talent), but twice a year we also have 2000 page threads that accumulate where people insist that we should sign every 5minute-wonder from all four corners of the globe alongside comments like "oh they'll only cost something like 5, 10, 15 million quid....... It's no biggy if they don't pan out.".

So confirmed backup then, I guess him and his agent never even thought about it like that. Probably just assumed they'd be in the first team.

They were mental then, because he is a relative nobody coming to compete with a World Cup winner and the fastest man in the PL, for a manager who only ever plays two CBs.

If he wants to play more he will have to show Ange in training that he is better than those two. Which I don’t think he is.

Ange should rotate him in against weaker teams like Burnley and Sheffield to ensure he gets enough minutes to be played into, and maintain form. Otherwise it’ll turn into a doom loop where he won’t be trusted with minutes because he’s not in form, and because he’s not in form he won’t be trusted with minutes.

This phenomenon is imo a big reason why our bench sucks- they don’t get enough minutes to get into form and then get stuck in the doom loop until they simply permanently regress.

..............Which is why the "no Europe will be good for us" mantra was flawed.

Sure; people are gonna cite our injury problems this season, but you cross that bridge as and when you come to it.

- Davies & Emerson would be in better shape (with the former probably not pulling up injured as soon as we needed him recently).
- Dragusin could have had more game-time if decent cup runs permitted.
- Veliz, Gil, Skipp, PEH too.
- Johnson could have had a less abrupt integration.
- Even the back up GKs could have remained limbered........ (Good lord; imagine if we'd have had to call upon Forster over the last month or so for the run in!)
