When Genoa were in Serie B last season, they had the highest percentage of possession in the league that season and even then his passing stats didn't stand out compared to the other CB's in that team.

He ain't as good as Romero or VDV. But they are both excellent players.

Do you think he's going to improve his technical ability in a league as intense and fast paced like this? And would he even get the minutes to do that?

Would like to see him start everyCup and European game at the very least next season with a rotation of Romero and VDV for alternate games to give him as much practice playing with both for when the inevitable absence comes.
I really wouldn’t be signing another CB: a) unlikely to be enough minutes to get someone of sufficient quality b) Davies (not ideal I admit) can do a job if needed c) Between Vuskovic, Phillips and Dorrington you’d hope at least one of them is good enough to make it, and another body is ultimately gonna block that path d) we have serious pressing needs elsewhere so resources better deployed elsewhere.

Skill is the combo of technical ability and decision making. You work on the technical and experience gives you the decision making.

There are so many image conscious but stupid haircuts in the Premiership but there’s only 1 that really irritates me and that Cucarella,
At least with Cucurella it’s just his natural hair, agree it looks ridiculous, and can’t imagine it being comfortable running around in it all day.
Maddison has one of the worst hair cuts I have ever seen, it's like he chose the style to reflect his form since coming back from injury.
