I think this is just rumour, as it was going around last week, but it was mentioned to me earlier this morning by some colleagues who were involved in the stadium construction project. So while likely just adding gossip, a point to consider perhaps….
Tottenham don’t have an events licence for all the Championship games + concerts already booked and they might well have to play games elsewhere next season as the club will need to prioritise stadium events for revenue due to the debt owed, on the stadium. There being no guarantee Haringay will extend their events licence.
My thought is, yeah but surely we won’t have as many European games so it balances out ? But is that true ?
& the stadium debt problem will need to be solved before we move forward and get into a state where we can build a championship squad.

I've enjoyed watching a couple of wolves games more than any of ours. They actually play some football, we look so clueless that it actually beggars belief. When was the last time we dominated a game, played nice football and didn't stumble to 3 points?

We played 29 home games last season. And that included zero home games in the fa cup. No idea if there is a limit though. I guess not as we could have potentially played a few more games in the FA cup if we weren’t shit.

Just watched the pre match press conference for tonight and Porro was asked if players thought they could just up and leave in the summer if we got relegated. He completely dodged the question and said they were just focusing on tonight!

We need to hit them where it hurts most to get them to perform. Their egos and their pockets. They need to be told nobody is going if we go down. They'll all be paid half their wages and they will have to just get on with it in the Championship. That will definitely focus some hearts and minds!

I was drubbed here a few weeks ago for suggesting that some players will know they’ll get a move away if we go down and they may want to move away from this dysfunctional club anyway, so they may not feel the same level of commitment as a squad player who will for certain be playing in the championship next year on half their current wages.
The players themselves will prove in the coming weeks if they are one of these or not.
Who sees Ryan Mason as a savior? Has he ever distinguished himself as a coach or impressed in any of the games he’s managed for us, or for anyone? Did he impress at West Brom? Well some of them not. And I was not trying to drag the poster to whom I replied but rather the idea that Mason is our salvation. We all feel positive toward Mason but he’s had a couple of caretaker stints already.
