If Levy went? Now that's a different matter.

Honestly if we stick with the bluffer for the entire season i dont see us finishing on much more than that. 45 pts tops.
What's your email address?I've changed my password to okcookhistory so I don't forget this time.
You're about to start posting on the right side of history young man
I'm looking forward to the post season trip
The problem is thar Ange's method requires great individualsOther clubs, some doing better than us, objectively buy players many on here would turn their nose at.
It is up to managers to instill all the right conditions and to absolutely get the maximum from their resources.
I think too many posters on here have this concocted notion of thinking they know what a top player is and equating results to that so called quality of player.
It's a fallacy and the only thing I know for certain is that Postecoglou is not adding enough value. The rest is just speculative rubbish.
I don't think it requires great individuals. It requires individuals twice as good as their opponents, which is possible in Scotland but not in England even with unlimited funds. Ange simply cannot manage at this level.
I’m glad your pointing out our chaotic defence. It’s hard to watch, compared to Newcastle’s coordinated approach, double teaming, pressing at the right time, playing it long when it makes sense, and frankly dart arts. They were miles better defensively. And I do think our young, inexperienced defenders did well, it’s just the overall patterns in every game seem lacking.I don't think it requires great individuals. There's no organization, or even attempt at organization, to the defending. Which is why we need to move on. Take the good of his attacking philosophy and marry it with the sound defence and quick recovery tactics of Iraola.
If you gave me control of Tottenham for 48 hours, I'd sack Ange, have Iraola name his price, and pay £80M to sign João Neves to a 5 year £200k/week deal.
I think we'd win the Europa League, and with a half decent summer we'd be right back in the mix next season.
Lad, its Tottenham. We were literally 4th and didnt play CL following season because Chelsea won the cup. I bet for the next 10 years 5th position in league will let you play CL due to UEFA country ranking, except last year when we were 5thThe number of points needed to be safe the last five years were 27, 35, 36, 29, 35.
So on 24 points with 18 to play, the chances are virtually zero.
Yes. But all of those numbers are higher than we currently have and we are struggling right now to get points on the board. 5 points from 24. No home win in 2 months. Away form absolute arse. The number of points needed to be safe the last five years were 27, 35, 36, 29, 35.

So no extra defenders then ?I don't think it requires great individuals. It requires individuals twice as good as their opponents, which is possible in Scotland but not in England even with unlimited funds. Ange simply cannot manage at this level.

United play Southampton next week and whilst the likely result will see distance remain between us and Southampton, United will overtake us. Favourable results in other games could also see us just a few points above 17th.
As unlikely as we think it may be statistically the longer this goes on for, the hairier it’s going to get.
