There's no organization, or even attempt at organization, to the defending. Which is why we need to move on. Take the good of his attacking philosophy and marry it with the sound defence and quick recovery tactics of Iraola.

If you gave me control of Tottenham for 48 hours, I'd sack Ange, have Iraola name his price, and pay £80M to sign João Neves to a 5 year £200k/week deal.

I think we'd win the Europa League, and with a half decent summer we'd be right back in the mix next season.

What a season we are having. Reminds me of the late 90s, early 00s. There was always a bit of relief when we got 40 points.
 
Considered this thread as some sort of fun, but since Orstein reported Ange job is safe, i might need to add it to my watchlist. We may spend some time here in the future and have some serious discussion soon, im afraid.

If he truly is here for the season i'm concerned. I dont think we'll go down because i dont see 2 of Leicester, Ipswich and Wolves getting upto 35 pts (which we should limp too) but it only takes 2 or 3 results from them and we're looking over our shoulders.
 
On the plus side, we still remain in 12th after the weekend. On the downside with Ipswich drawing at Fulham, we are one point close to the relegation places.

Yeah we are capable of a few wins. No chance we will get relegated but I can't remember the last time we were in this situation at this point in the season. Must have been when I was but a spotty teenager in constant misery not helped by being a Tottenham supporter.
