Play different clubs, win more games, get bigger allocations, fuck the tourists, day trippers and Sonny fan boys off.

Hoping we don't go down but we are only one of 18 other clubs making up the numbers in the Premier League anyway.
We get a parachute payment 30million, we’d get more tv coverage……..one game a week a Saturday whether lunch time or 3pm + odd Sunday hey doesn’t sound like the end of the world only problem is if we couldn’t some of our current squad the pansies that they are would never cope in that league 2-0 down away to Stoke in mid February 10 minutes to go, forget it

Oh btw, that netball team is worth more than Tottenham and they are the worst basketball team in history....

Confused Jim Carrey GIF

Obviously not impossible sure nothing is but we are taking under 2% likely. According to bookies odds it's less than 1% likely. Its dramatic to be going on about it but I understand fans are just freaking out at how bad things currently are and I think discussing relegation just helps them vent about this team
Sure, and I agree with a lot of that.

But the current risk is so low because the teams we're currently above are only closing the gap very slowly. But 5 points in 10 games means if we don't find a way of improving and quickly we're vulnerable if one or two of those two teams do manage to scrap out some points.

I'd rather we weren't reliant on other teams continuing to drop points. That shouldn't be our plan.

Most of us are only looking at our games when we are worrying about dropping down, but I looked at the opposition games up to GW28 and I don’t really see where Wolves, Leicester and Ipswich get enough points to catch us either. As long as we don’t lose to Ipswich and Leicester we should have enough points. It’s a disgraceful thing to type and position to be in still but luckily we are still in a better position than the rest.

I really don’t understand people being so relaxed about the idea of relegation or that it won’t happen? Seriously why are we so confident with 16 games left and only 8 points ahead?

We cannot be backed to win any game.

Everton did this - insisted they were too big to be in a relegation battle before they realised they were in a relegation battle.

Please people do not underestimate the power of the league to go all in and get us relegated if they have a sniff. You saw what happened when we were close to the title, teams turned up and played out of their skins against us.

Tottenham are a big target now. If that becomes 5 points with 10 games to go, we should be terrified.

Ange has to go immediately

We lost 2-1 to Ipswich at home.

I'm going to be at the Leister & if we lose that then it will be closer to relegation & no Spurs can say either one way or the other but this has been the most unpredictable season I've seen Spurs play.

Fans were saying Everton deffo win - well what happened?

I agree that the Ipswich and Leicester games are crucial. Win both they won’t catch us. But even if we lose, which let’s face it we can’t discount, I don’t see where either get enough points either. 30 points will probably be enough for 17th.

Problem is if they do both beat us, which is unlikely before the happy clappers descend on me, the gap is closer and they get a huge confidence boost. They will have been ready for the scrap since day one when the business end hits.

We on the other hand will start seriously doubting ourselves.

Do you think Levy and the board have forgotten about the shit results we had earlier in the season before most of these injuries occurred to the team?
Yes. And the shit results across the tail end of 23/24.

We only won 9 league games across the entirety of 2024. But yeah, injuries.

Micky, Romero and Vicario played in about 8 or 9 of those losses. Yes, we lose more without them but like you say, it’s not a new or injury specific thing. We are shit. Have been shit since GW11 of last season.

If we lose on Sunday, and Ange gets the sack on Monday, he'll continue to hide behind the injuries to save face. He got quite narky with a journalist on tv recently for alluding that there might be something other than the injuries to blame for the poor form.

When you coach a win every match, and have a win percentage of 47% in the Australian league, and almost as many Celtic trophies as Neil Lennon, I think you can be entitled to a little bit of arrogance. Mate.
