Leaning no, I wasn't expecting a complete turnaround against the league leaders. We'll know more after the next two games. No points in either of those and I think we're toast.

Edit: Misread the wording of the question.

Problem with the next two fixtures being so important is it’s likely that Dragusin is going to start in some capacity for both.

I’m not confident we can keep any club in the league to less than 2 goals with him starting and we haven’t scored more than 2 goals in a league match since October.

I still think we'll stay up, but it may be uncomfortably close. I was more confident until I heard Igor's comments today. It sounds like the players have lost confidence. The problem is, he has to kick them in the pants to get them going while trying to convince them they aren't as bad as they think they are.

Shows how clueless the board is. Sacking Frank before a NLD and giving the new manager an ass whipping on his first day to destroy the new manager bounce.

Frank should have had his last game yesterday. Then bring in Igor.

Bell ends.

We all thought Levy was keeping wage spend down ready for a prospective sale, turns out he was just readying us for the Championship.

I'm absolutely convinced ENIC's plan was to have us finish round P14 for a season or two, then invest a tiny bit to get us back up to P7-P10, so they could claim progress, ambition etc...knowing plenty naive fans would buy it...meanwhile basically mugging us off and not having to spend proper big club money, filling their boots instead. Rinse & repeat for a few years.

So, you think this is ENICs plan?

- miss out on 100m+ in revenue by not qualifying for Europe
- miss out on 40m+ prize money for table finish in EPL
- Dramatically reduce match day revenues
- Devalue the players
- Make club less attracting to Sponsors

Of course not. Over last 5 years, 4th highest NET SPEND (more than Liverpool, City, Newcastle, Madrid, Barca, PSG) IN THE WORLD. 1 BILLION EUROS in transfer fees.

But but...Salaries I hear you cry. 10th WORLDWIDE, 6th in Premier League.

For the money that has been spent, Spurs should be challenging for the Premier League title, and winning trophies every year.

So...WTF has gone wrong?

- Replace Son, Moura and Kane with players nowhere near their level.......Odobert, Solanke, Richarlison, Tel, RKM, Kudus, Johnson
- Replaced Eriksen, who rarely missed a game with Madisson who has only played 2900 EPL minutes of 9500 available.
- Replace world class keeper (Lloris) with Vicario, who can neither defend set pieces nor kick a ball.
- Expecting 18 years old to play at a Premier League level.
- Consistently signing players from poor performing teams (not signing winners). Grey, Odobert, Solanke, Richarlison, Kudus, Johnson, Madisson, Udogie, Vicario all signed from bottom of the table teams.

CONCLUSION
Spurs spent a billion Euros assembling a team of players that for the most part have zero experience competing at the highest level for trophies. They have never played with an expectation of winning and don't know what it takes to get over the line.

Yeah. I said a few weeks ago I would've let Frank have the NLD (considering he won in preseason), and then if he inevitably lost bring in Robbie Keane (kids are Spurs fans, used to PL relegation fights).

The first time in my 20 years of supporting this club since I was a child that I genuinely fear getting relegated.

Having just watched the full Forest/Liverpool replay, they are simply much more disciplined and tactically sound than what we are currently. They really should have won. Injuries are a reason for most our losses, but never an excuse. The Eze second goal and the Gyokores first goal were highly preventable.

Forest dominated Wolves for a 0-0 draw, should have beaten Liverpool and against Leeds, although they lost, the amount of chances they were able to create but couldn’t score. Dyche wasn’t even doing that bad, Marinakis is just a m*ron.

West Ham are the same in the sense of building strong form for a while now. Bottled it against Chelsea and a freak Sesko moment of brilliance denied them the win.

We look miles off these 2 sides and can’t even create half chances. If we don’t beat Palace and take at least a point off Fulham, we are in deep shit if we aren’t already. It'll click sooner or later for them and if it does, we are done.

Forest and West Ham have shown they are willing to fight, players who know how to stave off relegation. There is no such evidence on our end…

This.

It is nothing other than total and utter incompetence from Levy on every facet of the football business/sporting project from about 2016 onwards. It’s Levy and the people he has put in key positions (Coaching and Recruitment) that have put this club in a fucking death spiral.

Let it burn 🔥 the fuck down. This has been a slow road to absolutely nowhere.

They have allowed what was, to become essentially a public urinal. They had no shame in letting the shirt, badge and our history be humiliated time and time and time again, while the profits all came flooding in.

Far too many people didn’t care anywhere near enough while our proud history was allowed to be eroded under the constant sniggering and derision.

I said, for many years, that this all has a whiff of Coventry about it and here we are on the cusp of the very same thing.

I can only hope this club goes down and goes bust. From the wreckage we will recover, we might not play in the ( awful ) stadium again, we might not play in Europe or the Premier League for years to come, but so fucking what ?

We stink the league out now anyway and I am sick to death of what we ( they ) have allowed us to become. We client reference numbers can’t even be arsed to storm the pitch, too passive for years and we have to accept we have enabled our own demise. And they seem to have forgotten what we ever stood for, or meant to stand for.

We are prisoners of ENIC. Let it end.
Been a fan for 40 years, but actually, if we get relegated and I stop watching, stop caring (because we aren't coming back from that, for a long, long time), then maybe my weekends and some mid-weeks will be better, happier, because this shit-show of a club won't make me miserable and subject me to regular embarrassment amongst friends. I literally would just walk away if we go down. If ENIC don't give a toss, then why should I??

Fulham (A): 1 point
Palace (H): 3 points
Liverpool (A): 0 points
Forest (H): 3 points
Sunderland (A): 1 point
Brighton (H): 3 points
Wolves (A): 1 point
Villa (A): 0 points
Leeds (H): 3 points
Chelsea (A): 0 points
Everton (H): 3 points

18 points should see us firmly mid table

I get what you’re saying but Tudor needs time with the players and the 12 days or whatever it was before the Woolwich match would have been important. If anything, Frank should have gone earlier. The dithering dolts in charge may have cost us survival, the margins are that fine.

What the cunts didn't anticipate however, is that we'd finish 17th last year and on course to do even worse this season, getting relegated at the end of it. Proper backfired that and now, cause they're arrogant clueless cunts, never even thought of what ifs, they have fuck all emergency plan to get us out of that serious funk we're in. And to be honest, I genuinely think they don't give a shit. They'll find a way to make their money back even if when we go down to the Champo and they'll never ever think it was their fault.

If one was to give our owners and Board any benefit of the doubt, and I know this is very thin ice, they misplaced their trust in the dynamic duo of Vinai and Lange who got the management appointment and decision-making spectacularly wrong and have shown to be incompetent and ineffective on the playing talent front. No matter what happens, I would hope that those 2 are given their marching orders this summer.

They brought Dier, Eriksen, Alderweirald, Trippier, Dele, Lloris, Jan for pennies, all while other clubs were paying astronomical fees, and thought they were the cleverest people in football.

When that kind of value evaporated from the market, they ended up shopping in the bargain bins, looking for value, and then panic buying when the window was closing.

They performed a massive coup getting Mourinho. Nobody expected him at Spurs. And then rather than back him, gave him Reguillon, Doherty, Rodon, Vinicius and Joe Hart - and once again though they were the smartest people in the room, bringing back Bale; who was playing part time to stay fit for Wales.
