Whats really strange is we’ve actually scored some world class Puskas nominee goals this campaign. A few from our CBs tbf, but to me our biggest issue is the midfield.

Our midfield is the worst I’ve seen in the league by some distance. Every midfielder treats the ball like a grenade. In the Fulham game alone I can point to two incredible passages of play where Palhinha just slide tackles the ball away with absolutely no one around and another where Gray just boots the ball to the moon when Tel had about 50 yards of space to run in to.

However this myth of a Spam resurgence was formed when they collected wins against Sunderland and Burnley after beating us in January... not exactly running a gauntlet. And they seem to lose every London derby unless it's us.



I could allow the 'relegation would be good for us' talk if it were likely to change anything. It is not likely to change anything really. It will see a number of the wage thieves currently on the squad washed out, but it will not change who owns the club or how they run it. We will simply see another bunch of average players signed and another round of poor management and another year of excuses that somehow we are destitute and we have to sell to buy.

I just don't want to conceive of relegation, even though I accept it's possible.

That's just Palinha in a nutshell. It's crazy to me that people here rate him.

Agreed but it’s also Sarr, who’s no technician with the ball. It’s Gallagher too. Gray just recycles the ball with easy passes currently. Bissouma plays like it’s Sunday kickabout. Xavi cannot figure out the PL speed.

We’re an absolute disaster in the middle. Its why we look second best every match no matter the opposition. We are never in control of any match because our midfield is dogshit.

We really should be beating the likes of Palace, Forest, Sunderland, Brighton, Wolves, Leeds and Everton. However, with the exception of Wolves, they’ve mostly been better than us this year.

Bentancur and Bergvall are the best midfielders we have. That says it all really.

The thing that pisses me off is that these cunts cant even draw games.

Even if we cant beat Palace and Forest at home just don't lose and we slowly increase the gap on West Ham (most likely).

Get players back and then get 2 or 3 wins from Brighton, Wolves, Leeds and Everton.

8-11 points would do it.

Yeah, what you've set out there I think is best case.

Whether we survive or not we need Poch in and about 10 of these players out.

I've also come to the view we'd be better getting shot of Romero. He is a great player on his day, but the one thing our team lacks more than anything else is leadership. And he is the captain. I guess there might be a last chance under Poch.

Clubs like Notts Forest , Leeds and even Spam have fewer players in that position. Many of their squad members are enjoying the high point of their careers . They'll be giving everything to stay in the Premier League .

Bar Archie, Danso, Bergvall, CG, Palhinha, Tel and Richy...plus Ben, Mads & Kulu despite being out...I guarantee you none of them twats will give a rat's ass if we get relegated.

Vicario, Porro, Udogie, Romero, Micky, Djed, Bentancur, Biss, Sarr, Kudus, Odobert, Solanke, Muani, Simons...they would not give a flying fuck and they sure would never ever feel responsible even a tiny bit. They'd blame it on the board, the kids, the refs, the media, the managers, even us fans. Can't be their fault, they're perfect.

Don't get me started on Gallagher. With Sarr we can offload him, but with Pal, we'd have to buy him, and that'd be an outrageously bad signing.

Yeah there's no dynamo in there at all. There's about £140-150m of players there and one of them might be a good player. Our recruitment is putrid.
