Yep. I take your point. It's madness to have sold Johnson. Actually it's a straight sackable offence for Lange. And ENIC, while they might be thinking "oh, we'll replace him at the end of the season" have there made another big mistake, because, yet again it screams "we tolerate incompetence here". This is the manifestation of culture.
Yeah I get the reason behind selling him , however the fact we never replaced him or his goals and Kudus got injured the game after he was sold, yet we still decided we didn't need anyone in, thats absolutely fucking criminal!!!!!
He should ONLY have been sold if we had a deal done for a replacement. No ... "we'll sell him and hope to do a deal" nonsense. That is straight sackable.
Yeah I called it out a long time ago but was told by many it was the manager's fault.
Absolutely! They could hardly hide their erections. Absolutely gagging for us to go down.
Both things can (and in this case are) true at the same time.
Mentality of this squad is shit. And it is very much shaped by the recent managers.
Ange came completely normalized not even trying to win EPL games for months upon months.
After making very weird stand about "accepting/wanting to lose" one game. Yet then was totally OK with us losing 20 games in following season.
Then Frank came in. And picked a captain that is definition of poor example. Someone who has always and publicly put himself and NT ahead of Spurs and who lacks very basic discipline and does not even speak the fucking language (!). Then tried to win some authority by banishing easy target of Bissouma from pre-season games. And then pathetically brought him back trying to ghost fans like there never was issue with him at all.
All that has very-very strongly contributed to the current climate. Climate of total lack of accountability.
Where you don't have to even try. Heck, where you don't need to even be there on time (!) and all that is accepted and rewarded.
That is perfect way to destroy culture and spine of the side.
Of course Ange and Frank were crap to a degree but ultimately it is on the players.
I agree with your too too btw.
It's too simplistic to say we have better players than those.Absolute fact that beating/getting points against Palace today or losing to them, neither guarantees safety or consigns us to that dreaded relegation.
There will still be 27 points to play for once the whistle blows tonight.
Nobody but nobody believe that we don't have better players than Leeds, or Palace, sloghtly , more arguably than West Ham and Forest.
It's now the time to prove it, but tonight is not the be all and end all. It’s just the next match.
It's too simplistic to say we have better players than those.
Better individuals does not equal a better performing team.
And even at the individual level:
West Ham: more match-winners (Bowen and Summerville)
Forest: Vastly superior engine room (MGW and Anderson)
Palace : Adam Wharton > our whole midfield

Summerville and Bowen are no better than what we have at our best.
I think the booing off the pitch they’ve received at home has given the senior players like VDV an excuse to already check out.
I really don’t think some of them give a flying f**k about us fans and seem to have zero professional pride.
The apparent mentality of this squad as a whole is the worst I’ve ever known it.
The players don't care. Most of them are internationals who are more focused on the WC this summer than helping the club stay up. It's been clear that they despise the board, club management, and the supporters. They all know that their agents will work on moves for them while they're competing for their countries this summer.Yup. A lot of our players seem to think that relegation won't affect them. They probably imagine that they'll just get moves away. Ignoring the fact that this will be on their CVs just as much as the EL win will.
he's not wrong though. The writing is on the wall.Well you're a little fucking ray of sunshine, ain't ya?
Not saying you can't have your opinions, or truly believe them... That's your choice entirely, and good luck to you...
But I just hope to fuck you're not doing the team talk this evening!!!![]()
By no means did I enjoy the football. He had no Kulu, Maddison, Solanke for his entire tenure. We qualified top 8 in CL with far harder fixtures than the likes of Qarabag, ferencvaros etcFrank’s terrible football could win us the CL and finish 17th again?
In all honesty Frank’s tenure is the same as the Labour Party. Had a one off chance to really change things and stamp your authority on the big issues.
I was pro Frank, and he was a lot more defensive than I thought he’d be. At the same time his only January arrival is Gallagher. Bit of a pisstake no? It’s been mentioned before the attacking players Frank left at Brentford are better than ours. I’m sure he was expecting way more in the summer and other players in January too. He had Maddison and Kulu out for the season and zero replacement allowed.
From Frank’s point of view, yes he’s taken on this big job at spurs. He’s got absolutely stitched up in the two windows he’s had. Allowed to sign Kudus (club signing) Palinha on loan and Gallagher? As first team players.
I’d be absolutely raging, wasn’t allow to stamp his mark on the club and got told to get on with it.
Because Kudus wanted to go.Nonsense. Why do you think they put Kudas up for sale and not Bowen or Summerville?
