It's absolutely crazy isn't it. I thought Brentford were mad when they appointed a rookie manager !!!

That's the thing. It only takes one or 2 big results to completely change the whole picture and get the players confidence back. We beat West Brom twice at home in the space of 4 days. The first one took us out of the bottom 3 and the second one took us to Wembley in the FA Cup semi finals (which we also won beating Liverpool). Under Lambert, we were as good as down. For enthusiasm alone, Sherwood was the answer at the time.

It's whether the new manager bounce under Tudor can still happen.

Even with the injuries, the Spurs squad looks way too good to be finishing bottom 3.

But that big result needs to happen quick. If you could get it at Anfield, I'd be well happy !
 
Was thinking this morning on the way to work.

The last manager we had with any top level pedigree before Tudor was Conte.

Conte, refused to give Richarlison, Bissouma and Spence any significant minutes.

He didn't see them as serious footballers.

We're relying on them now.
 
The only man to save us is redknapp. He would just keep it simple , give the players some freedom and belief . It would be like a shot of adrenaline to the arm…

I always think there is a way out of almost any situation, if one can just find the solution. I'm not sure what the solution is for Spurs right now, but I do think there is a way to get enough points to stave off relegation if it can simply be acted on. Tudor seemed to be inching closer to what is needed, making a lot of good changes and putting players in their correct positions, but of course Mickey's horrific red- horrific in terms of how badly it screwed us- made it impossible to get anything from the game. I wouldn't chalk this loss up to Tudor.

I just cannot believe the Summer we had after losing 22 games in a season. The fact we thought it would go back to business as usual is just absolutely ludicrous and heinous in hindsight.

And then to compound it be doing nothing in January despite being in an even worse position injury wise. Stunning stuff.

We set up and played the game poorly before the red card. We sat back and let Palace dictate - we should be going out and trying to win these sorts of games
