The club won't sack Igor after 3 matches, they will give him another 3 to 5 matches and then maybe but it will be late for any new comer to save us from relegation.

We are doomed to go down. We should send our special thanks and gratitude to Levy, Lewis, Enic and the new chiefs.
I don't believe we are doomed.

If we beat Forest that alone might save us.

Following Forest, there's a break of more than two weeks, and we could have some players returning by that point. It'll be mid-April. Even the reappearance of someone like Bentancur could provide some help in addition to being able to play both our best centre backs

There's nothing written in stone at this point, and plenty of time to earn some points if the players will do it.

Alan Pardew would probably be tempted.

You're welcome for the inevitable nightmares.

I am not sure, I feel like that is giving the players way too much leeway and excuses. Romero, VDV, Vicario and other countless players making pathetic mistakes this season is down to them. They need to look at themselves.

Footballers blaming the ownership is an easy cop out. Maybe Romero could point to his ambition not being met, but he's let the club down with his suspensions.

The club spent a lot of money in the summer and for all intents and purposes expected an exciting season.

I do think the club are ultimately responsible for the demise over several years, and definitely to blame for appointing people like Lange and Paratici who have fucked this squad up by signing constant duds, like Vicario, Porro, Udogie, Gallagher, Richarlison, Odobert, I could go on.

But ultimately if we get relegated, it will be on the players.

We have had two managers in Ange and Frank who couldn't get a tune out of them in the league. I think it's fair to say both managers are crap. But Tudor is also struggling.

This points to a cultural problem at the club, but also points to the fact that the squad we have are spineless. We have signed too many poor characters who aren't taking responsibility for themselves. We have no real leaders. The leadership group is a disgrace, how can you have a leadership group that has one of the worst players in the squad in, Vicario. Who lets goals in, makes mistakes constantly and berates young players.

That shows the squad is toxic. So yes overall the owners and leaders at the club, football and non football, are ultimately to blame. But if we go down, it's on this shit group of players who could only win 2 games at home all season.

We have cowardly players, they are a disgrace and I can't wait to see the back of them. I have said for a couple of seasons now that this squad are immensely dislikeable. Even Romero plays like he's dumb as hell. Porro and Vicario think they are far better than they are. VDV too. If I look back at the squads over the last couple of decades, we had such quality players, and even the ones who weren't great, most of them busted a gut.

This current iteration are pathetic, and so unlikeable. I don't just say that because we are struggling. Which players would you honestly want to get your kid a shirt with the name on the back? In previous years it would be a hard choice. Now, there's hardly a choice to make.
Oh mate, I don't disagree with anything you say but this is just the way with modern players, or so it seems.

They are too pampered and expect everything to be given to them, gone are the days of players fighting for each other, the manager, the club and the fans.

Jesus, that sounds depressing and utterly wrong but I also think, as we saw with Conte, that the club is very adept at making promises to get you through the door, then reneging on what they said.
That's not to excuse the players but if you took a job expecting the company to grow and improve as they said they would, only to watch it crumble around you, you'd be pretty pissed off with the people who hired you.

But yeah, if we go down having watched the performances over this season and last, the players certainly need to take a long hard look at themselves.
I don't think that they aren't capable players, they are just somewhat weak and pathetic, expecting everyone else to take the responsibility and I would be unhappy to see a large number of them just fuck right off.

But there's been something wrong at the club for a long time. Look at Conte's rant. There is something very wrong with the culture at the club, and that has been set by Levy.

There are no standards. It's all too comfortable.

But mate, players do not pick themselves. Standards only fall and players only play continually poorly because of one reason.

And the problem Tudor has, which he may or may not be able to rectify is that of remedying 2 years of poor standards, and that's notwithstanding whatever else Tudor might bring in terms of style of play, because ultimately it's not the style of play but getting players to play close to their optimum , match after match which has been seriously lacking for too long.

We are fucked, the players that could help us ain't coming soon and the way we are playing now we are absolutely losing to Forest. At least Djed, Romero and Udogie should be avaliable soon, that would sort a lot of our defensive problems, but going forward we still are a Frankenstein.

If we avoid defeat against Forest I think we have a great chance.

The 3 week break could help us massively. I was reading an article about Spurs players injury return dates, by the time we play Sunderland on 12th April it’s possible we could have back Kudos, Bergvall, Spence, Udogie and possibly Kulu back sometime in April 🤞

I wonder does the AIA and Nike deals have break clauses of we go down?

Be nice to have a different sponsor and maybe a nice kit for once ?

Probably be made by Joma or macron though!😩

Beating Forest is crucial. We could be fucked regardless if we don’t.

Right now we aren’t chasing anyone to stay up although that could change after the weekend.

It is in our hands, we have to match results or better them. Lose to Forest and that’s it.

If & that’s a big if they get a NFL franchise ( look at the tv money in that ) we would become an afterthought
That's what they'll be holding on for.

They stated themselves that was the ultimate goal

Back in 2019, head of THFC’s business development Aidan Mullally stated: “It is an NFL stadium and that’s the key message. From the very start, during the design phase, we have had the NFL in mind. The anchor tenant is Tottenham Hotspur, but this is designed to be a permanent home for the NFL outside the US.”
BBC

The scary thing is, despite it all being out there, including Levy's own blatant admission why he an Lewis got involved in the first place.....,our fanbase has been literally sleepwalking in to a disaster for years.

westham are playing well finding form and will climb the relegation zone.

It's between Spurs and forest? forest are used to it, it's new territory for our players ...... Make up what you want.

True. I think Levy wanted to be liked by the players. Think he was probably a bit star struck tbh. Rather than just keeping away from the training ground. He cucked himself around there. Falling over himself to make it a 6* hotel (as Mourinho put it). Big mistake. He was the bald cuckold who wanted to be liked.

"Solanke has revealed that the Spurs players have acknowledged their position in the table and it has prompted some honest discussions.
"We've just had a big conversation," he said.
"We know the position we are in is definitely not where we want to be so we need to figure out how we are going to get out of it as soon as possible.
“We know there's been difficulties but we're not in a position to make any excuses anymore.
"We need to do the job on the pitch. It is easy to say we want to be better but we want to be better on the pitch. We need to fight and realise the position we are in.
"We know the club is not used to being in this position so we need to understand it and understand it's not going to be easy and we need to fight every single game, every single minute, to make sure we improve."

Solanke reveals Tottenham dressing room reaction to relegation worries
Oh they have had a discussion have they. Well that’s put my mind at ease.
