They won't get away with this. Whatever referee is doing our Brighton game this weekend will feel if. I'm texting around. I'll get something sorted. This isn't on

I can see why you're called the Don. Sorry for any perceived disrespect from me in the past, I wasn't familiar with your game.

I am looking at the remaining fixtures, crunching the number and one could really make the case that:
NF will win 3 more games (9 points added to the 3 between us and them) = 12 point-gap
WH will win 3 more games (9 points added to the 2 between us and them) = 11 point-gap

This is realistic thinking based on this weekend's results and the momentum each team is showing.

Is our team capable of securing 11 points? (3 wins and 2 draws or even 4 wins)??? I don't see that.

Unless NF and/or WH lose their heads and go spursy, this is almost sealed and done.

Thank you ENIC, 25 years in the making and you finally did it.

Us losing at Sunderland and Leeds winning at Man Utd…… it is beginning to feel inevitable.
Next round of fixtures see us home to a Brighton team in good form, Leeds home to Wolves, Forest home to Burnley and Spam at Palace. Only victory against Brighton will give us a glimmer of hope, any other result and it’s all over. I feel sick.COYS.

You're conflating rational vs irrational.

There are lots of posters here that police the forum and tell people they're not fans for accepting the situation, and they're basing that off hopes and dreams, whereas every bit of evidence suggests that we're going down.

It's not a gotcha thing, no one wants us to go down, maybe 1 or 2 idiots who believe it'll force a sale (it won't), but when you see the happy clapper nonsense, ignoring all of the evidence right in front of your face, it's irritating, and these are emotional times. If there was any argument based off logic, then that's grand, but just being delusional is just annoying.
Thinking we’re going down isn’t the issue, most of us do. It’s acting like anyone who hasn’t completely given up is delusional that’s the problem. That’s not rational vs irrational, that’s just forum point scoring.

Football isn’t a spreadsheet. It’s perfectly normal to think we’re likely down and still hope for something unlikely. That doesn’t make someone a happy clapper, it just means they haven’t checked out.

You’re right it’s emotional, so flip it the other way. People don’t need reminding every five minutes that we’re down and how bad it is. We can all see it. Some just don’t feel the need to hammer it home to prove they were right early.

In West Ham, Leeds and Forest, I've seen a desire and fight to remain in The PL.
Something that's seriously missing from this Spurs side, plus goals win games as they say. Where are they gonna come from when we have no genuine wide men and a choice of a number 9 from Richarlison, Muani and Solanke!!!

De Zerbi is going to have to pull off some black magic to keep us up.

I thought Leeds were there potentially for the taking but then they ended up beating Man Utd!

The great positive for me personally is that I won't have to watch garbage premier League for at least a year

I'll watch bits of YouTube highlights of our games, and a few select champions League games and that's it.

Think it will be quite freeing once disappoinment subsides
I'm kinda having the beliefs that life is probably preparing me, at least, for something more productive and positive in the next season ahead so I can have more time working on those and be less affected by this club.

Leeds were always difficult to catch as they had home games vs Wolves and Burnley.

Forest and West Ham have tougher fixtures.

We just need to focus on our job.
I have argued with a few on here for weeks now that Leeds aren’t in this and this is the reason why - great fixtures, great spirit and a bit of nous.

Last night was arguably a good result for us if they can win their next 2 Wolves and Burnley at home - could mean they are on the beach for us.

Unless Forest drop points at home to Burnley, it’s a straight shoot out between us and the Whammers

This is what I don’t get : so ok people are seemingly loving the fact that relegation will entail “ a total clearout and rebuild “ .

Where the fuck are all these new , oven/ready , effective and hungry players coming from.

Lange’s little black book ?

I’ll believe it when I see it , frankly .

This sums it up. We can’t rely on those behind the scenes to buy or be allowed to buy the players either.

These are the main reasons we will be relegated:

1. Vinai and Lange thinking Son could be sold without a replacement and Odobert and Tel would match his output.
2. Vinai and Lange thinking Xavi, who has never played in the PL, could match the combined output of the injured Deki and Maddison.
3. Vinai and Lange thinking we didn’t need to sign a wide player after selling Johnson and Kudus getting injured.

Beyond any issues with the managers, the poor mentality in the club, etc, it’s the decisions in the market this year that will relegate us. With a couple more attackers we’d be irrelevant but SAFE in lower mid table.

I never wanted him sold. Knew it was a mistake but the FM lads and spurs tacticos thought differently.

Last year was the warning unheeded. We will go down. The only positives are we can clear out a lot of terrible players we’d be stuck with for the rest of their contracts and, with any luck , the club will change hands . Oh and personally will enjoy going to different grounds and not have to suffer VAR for at least a year.

I’d rather we didn’t go down, but I’d take one year in the championship (and then come back) than having more of the same for 5 years which is what we know we will get. Hopefully we will do a villa and come back renewed. The club from top to bottom needs a kick up the backside. Does anybody seriously think the hierarchy wouldn’t pop the champagne corks and celebrate a season well done and business as usual next season if we stay up?

I'm going to be severely disappointed with the match going supporters if Vinai, Lange, and ENIC aren't harassed out of the stadium against Everton (assuming they even show up).

Nobody except the deranged are risking being arrested for them and this football club. Why would you risk your life for these cunts?

They’ll be protests outside the stadium but that’s it. They should be hounded out of the club and be too scared to come to games from now, but nobody should be doing anything to risk it all for these pricks.

Villa spent three years down there, their first season they were midtable shite with a negative goal difference.

There's a lot of romanticising about Villa on here for some reason but it wasn't the cake walk for them you're all remembering

Stop playing these first team players and start playing the kids. I’ve been rooting this for months. I appreciate that I’m not a footballl manager and it sounds ludicrous.

These players have checked out. They don’t care and many aren’t good enough. As it stands we are very likely to go down. Doing the same thing with the very cunts that got us in this mess is madness.

Play the kids. At the very least it’s development for next season, and the best outcome is that they come good and we nick a win or two.

We should come straight back up. I really liken us to Newcastle in 2015/16. Look at Ipswich and Southampton last season, they were fucking dreadful and Ipswich are coming back up and Southampton after a shit first third of the season are making the play offs. We have plenty of champo experience, we'll have the best youngsters in the division, the best resources and likely the best manager.

But this only works if we make the right decisions , install the right people, sell the right players which is where it could all fall down. Vinai and Lange need to go the second our fate is sealed and just for once we need to get it right. We need people in that have actually played the game.

Pah!

The highest-paid director, widely understood to be Levy, received £5.76m in remuneration for the year ending 30 June 2025, a significant uplift of around 54% to what he was paid in 2024 and, according to the football finance expert Kieran Maguire, ensured Levy was the Premier League’s highest-paid director last season. He departed Spurs in September after almost 25 years in charge.
The man who loves money fuked you lot for 25 years and you did... nothing.

Some of you even looked up to him in that unique British way of genuflection towards anyone perceived as rich or posh whilst daring not speak to power🙄.
How's that working out for you?

And to rub it all in, the people who overlooked this shit only last month were happy with the direction of the club and were looking to cash in (of course, always money with these people ) by selling their illusion to others as revealed last week.

Ryan Norys’s talk at the South by Southwest festival on Friday will no longer take place. The club’s chief revenue officer, who has overseen a 40% rise in commercial revenue over the past three years, was due to speak on “how Tottenham is evolving beyond football to become a global cultural brand”.
Hilarious.

What a fucking club...
