It is I would say 25% is about our chance of going down not the OPTA 14% but it’s still a better position for us than West Ham.
And that's why my view with a single game to go is that if we now go down, we deserve to.
No complications here.
The only issue is the approach DeZerbi transmits to the players, and of course their ability to see it through.
Does he risk starting Maddison or have a set time when he will bring him on? I think I would be inclined to start him in the hope he can inspire us into a lead, and then once he tires his job is done. Waiting to see if he brings Maddison on if we are losing, feels counter-intuituve.

My concern is we've had 2 opportunities to put this to bed and failed. I'm not sure we have it in us, equally i'm not sure they do either. But we're really entering into the unknown where a mistake or a sending off sees us down.

I hate this club at times. Ive tried really hard to distance myself this season. Its like some weird abusive relationship though where you can't help but go back. I kept telling everyone I spoke with over the last week that there was zero chance of us getting anything last night. But a little part of me had this faint hope we might just manage a point so I put myself through it and watched it. Ive said for months now that we would get nothing from the last two fixtures. Chelsea because its Chelsea and Everton because I just dont think this bunch of players have the minerals in such a high stakes game. We will play ok in the main on Sunday I expect but struggle to score and just crumble and give sloppy goals away like last night. If I sit down and watch anything on sunday it will be the west ham game I think because I just cant let Spurs do it to me. I honestly cant believe we are in this situation its genuinely really depressing. Fair play to the fans who were there last night and have put up with this all season. I honestly just dont know how you do it. The club and this bunch of players dont deserve you.
