any idea when /what the last one was ?

Was thinking if on the pitch and night game.. maybe Hull, last home game in Div 2?
Bits of the pitch got dug up that night and taken home.
Just did a bit of digging about the last pic, wish I hadn't.
The people on the pitch are Goons.
It was after the game that Woolwich won the league in 71.
:mourfacepalm:

I was at that Goons match in 71. Went straight from school and queued in the Paxton. At 5pm, the queue was snaking up and down the road several times and we were directly opposite the gate but several lines back. When the gate opened, the lines completely collapsed and we got straight through and in almost immediately.
Lots of Gooners scattered about but don't remember it kicking off anywhere ? Left when Kennedy (?) scored, couldn't bear to watch. Jeez, that was 50 years ago !!!!!

I also went to that match. When I got there the queues were ridiculous and clearly no point going to the end. Hanged around Park Lane and eventually the queues collapsed and it was everyone for themselves. The old bill just watched and we're making sure no one got hurt but no attempt to control the crowd. Everyone was pushing and you could not move but eventually got in.
Left at the final whistle devastated at the result but will never forget going to that match.

looks like the Fa Cup comeback v Wycombe?
One of the best fa Cup games I've been to.

Plus the only home game I went to, in the final year at WHL.

I wasn't allowed to go, but ended up in a neighbour's house, whose brother and dad were gooners and we listened to the game on the radio. First time they really broke my heart.
