Toney would probably be doing interviews with Gary Neville going on about signing for Woolwich after the first week with us.

I'm sorry but as an individual I have no time at all for Toney. He checked himself out of Brentford long ago, utterly disrespectful. We can't afford passengers like that.

If we're replacing Richy not only does the quality matter but we can't be getting bad news like Toney in.

I disagree with you on Toney. If he signed with us he’d be as focused and determined to prove himself at a big club. It would be his one and only big club he’d play for. For what we would have to pay I’d take that to get 2 to 3 excellent years out of him with what his game brings.

Do we owe him that chance?

IMO he's not shown that he's earning that chance since he returned from the ban.

Toney can also not be trusted given his past with betting on/against his own team.

The moment he ends up putting the ball in his own net or missing a sitter the red flags would be flying all over even if it was completely accidental.

We don’t owe anybody anything. When he first came back he was brilliant. His all round game was top notch and I agree his levels have dropped lately. What you need to take into account is they are
playing for nothing just now so their whole teams levels will drop.

I know you are not a fan but I really like him. He’s got a bit about himself too and can look after himself.

LOL. It's a fair challenge, and I knew it was a non-starter as I typed it.

I'd defo keep Richie. He can produce the goods if he gets games and stays injury free. I'd also keep BJ. He can develop and has shown some real potential.

Tbh, the others we could move on. Among them, if we must then keep Son, but strip him of captaincy, and make him an impact bench player.

Sign two new wingers and promote the best U21.

If we want to snag a striker from a London team why not have a look at Mateta at Palace?

Big, strong, not too slow and on 12 goals this season. Not to mention two years younger than Toney.

This is another thing, people keep talking about Saudi coming in.

It's apparently never occurred to them that he actually likes it here and might not want to commit career suicide by going to Saudi in his prime.
