It's a shame 'cos at one stage it seemed like he wasn't quite good enough. Now it seems that he is good enough - at least, in terms of having a useful role to play as a squad player, if not as the main man. But now he just seems unable to stay fit. I think the combination of constant niggles and not being quite good enough to lead the line leaves us with no option but to cash in, I am afraid.

in terms of goals yes. but hes never let us down when it comes to fight. we should be looking to upgrade the rest of the losers in the frontline first imo. richy will run through a brick wall for the club, and he is a box threat, the only one that wants to attack crosses and not scared of getting a knock.

his PPG is the highest at the club by a distance i would presume? coincidence?

That should be a given for a footballer. Working hard and fighting for your teammates and club is the bare minimum and he does give us that but there needs to be much more to play with Tottenham as our number 9.
Time to move him on and improve.

it should be but it isnt. our captain doesnt give a 10th of the fight richarlison does.

what he lacks in quality he makes up for in other things. our results with him starting are good. hes no berbatov but he does add value in other ways. yes id rather watch someone far more silky, but the rest of that front line needing moving on first imo they are a bigger problem than richarlison.

hes still not even been used for his strengths. hes a box threat. ive not seen one game where hes been in the box and had adequate service! these sides that camp in against us thats all you can do against them. and we havent even used that.

We look far better with him playing.. he's had one spell of starting as the central striker and he's delivered... Fitness is the issue.. tbh I'm not sure he's ever recovered totally from his hamstring going...signing .Toney would be a HUGE plus.. though I'm not sure we'll be able.. he'll be looking for champions league footie...

Toney has only been a "huge plus" once..........

23/24 - 4G (1 pen) / 1 Asst > 1 x GA every 253mins
22/23 - 20G (6 pens) / 4 Asst > 1 x GA every 123mins
21/22 - 12G (5 pens) / 5 Asst > 1 x GA every 171mins

Even then..... Richy currently beating each of those output rates..... And that's without being our pen taker.
 
Lovely chap and credit to him for turning his season around but for me Richy is a must sell. Can't hold up the ball, can't bring others into play, and most importantly can't be relied upon to stay fit. In addition he's the only one of our dispensable players who could bring in decent money. Sell to the Saudis for anything over 40 and bring in Guirassy for 15 and/or Toney, absolute no brainer.

When his form changes, his fitness and/or mental health lets him down.
