17 goals in his last 24 starts.
Fair enough he isn't Kane or HMS but he is not as shit as a lot of people try and make out.

That stat isn’t right.17 goals in his last 24 starts.

A decent and clean performance against Brentford followed up by a sluggish 70 minute shift offering nothing. It is tedious watching him.
that is impressive. he is a box player, outside the box hes pretty useless, but inside the 18 yard box he is a threat, its just about getting him service into the box.that's roughly 0.65 goals per 90 and none of those goals were penalties
Kane is amazing, he was never a replacement but should score 15 a season. Injuries meant he hasn't.that is impressive. he is a box player, outside the box hes pretty useless, but inside the 18 yard box he is a threat, its just about getting him service into the box.
our record with him starting games is also very good, it aint the prettiest of stuff, but he clearly adds weight. just can be frustrating watching him outside the 18 yard box. maybe muani on the left and kudus right with richie central is the way to go until solanke is back.
richie is a LW? i dont think so, hes only useful in the box. all his best moments have come inside the 18 yard box, bar the goal against the scum. hes brave with attacking crosses and to be fair hes actually a decent finisher when hes close to goal. outside the 18 yard box he doesnt even look like a premier league footballer at times, defo not a winger.Kane is amazing, he was never a replacement but should score 15 a season. He is a LW or a second striker but there isn't an easy replacement
Yeah - I'm actually now kinda confused about him tbh. I was convinced he was rubbish but 0.65 goals per 90 is an undeniably good league record.that is impressive. he is a box player, outside the box hes pretty useless, but inside the 18 yard box he is a threat, its just about getting him service into the box.

yea exactly that, johnson being on the wing was too involved in build up and it came to nothing and was an awful watch, richarlison has a fairly simple game outside the 18 yard box, a bit of hustle and just play it simple, then fuck off into the 18 yard box and try and get on the end of what comes in.Yeah - I'm actually now kinda confused about him tbh. I suppose it's a similar situation to Brennan Johnson. If you only look at the goals he's actually been very solid over the past 18 months or so. But we all know how limited he is in almost all other areas of his game. And I firmly believe that building an attack around BJ is a net negative for the team collectively, even if he does bag 11 in the league or whatever. I think Rich is nowhere near as bad for the team as BJ is, though. As a 9 he's less involved in build-up and he does have the occasional game where his touch and link-up are on point. Still pretty rubbish as a hold-up man but not a complete black hole in possession like BJ.
Last season Solanke's output was nowhere near as good as Rich's has been but I generally felt happier to see his name on the teamsheet as I felt like he was a more reliable presence, better technical footballer, his lows are nowhere near as low as Rich's can be.
I suppose my conclusion is Rich is nowhere near as bad as we often make him out to be on here - some have said up there with our worst signings ever - and a frustrating striker that scores at his rate is very useful to have knocking around. I'd still sell him in the summer if we can get decent money, but certainly won't be the worst thing in the world to have him around as a rotation option for 1 more season I suppose.
Woltemade probably the closest we've got in the league right now. He's got some of that Berbatov languid elegance. Although no-one does it quite like him (and in the modern game a player simply can't get away with strolling about like Berba used to).yea exactly that, johnson being on the wing was too involved in build up and it came to nothing and was an awful watch, richarlison has a fairly simple game outside the 18 yard box, a bit of hustle and just play it simple, then fuck off into the 18 yard box and try and get on the end of what comes in.
another massive factor, richarlison isnt a pussy that will duck duals and be scared to head the ball, hes also got that south american street smarts.
id much rather watch a striker with elegance like berbatov all day long, but are they even out there anymore? i dont think richarlison can be flogged game in game out tho, hes good for 120 mins every 180 at most imo.
