Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Scrapheap - get him gone. I don't think I have seen a worse player for that kind of money ever.
Shite touch, awful shooting, passing, hold up play and running like a 20 stone asthmatic - its unfathomable how he is a premier league striker to me. Despise him

Wouldnt shock me if he comes up with an important goal in the last 2 games but bloody hell can we please move him on this summer. Him seeing out 4 seasons is one of the reasons we are where we are. He's been poor or injured for 90% of that time and we just plod on regardless.
Spot on im going to keep repeating this. Part of the process of moving this club forward starts with a simple fucking spread sheet. On it a list of the amount of injury time playing time and fees a players cost. In order of their presence in these disasters sides we have had start clearing out. Break this thing up its rancid and start with Richarlison

He plays for the Brazil national team because he offers something unique and is unlike almost every other Brazilian.

He's physical, good off the ball, does a lot of dirty work, excellent in the box unless the ball is at his foot and it's not a tap in.

Unfortunately, he's dreadful at the technical side of football. that works a lot better when you have 10 technical players to put around him. He certainly doesn't have that here.

Richarlison was never a star, not even for the Brazilian national team. However, in recent years he has declined considerably. The Richarlison of 2026 is not the same as the Richarlison of 2022.

Richarlison not in Brazil's World Cup squad.

He's technically one of poorer players, but tries hard and whilst he seems to miss a lot of chances his stats so far (in all competitions) is 11 goals and 5 assists (16 Goal Involvements), probably Spurs most prolific this season.

Should have gone to Saudi and made a fortune. Instead stayed for a nothing season and possible relegation and didn't make the squad anyway.
Overestimated his own ability.

I will curse this club for replacing Son and Kane with Richarlison and Solanke

You can look at our replacements for Wanyama, Dembele, Modric, Bale as well as others.

ENIC just went cheap, cheap, cheap and cheaper.

There was no strategy from the moment the bid came in for those players (and others) until the last minute of most transfer windows.

Who of the main board thought that buying Tel was a masterstroke, who on the board thought that the loans of Werner and Muani was likely to be value for money and add a cutting edge to the team?

Yet we send out Moore on loan, and then Lange decides that the January 2026 transfer window offered not one player in world football good enough to improve the squad.

Lange should be looking over his shoulder, and beyond, he should be looking at Serie A and what Paratici has done for Fiorentina. Vina should have done everything to keep the Italian and get rid of that Villa failure.

This isn't about our current squad and injury list, it's all about the mismanagement, lack of vision and dereliction of duty of the main board during and post Levy.

Staying up is imperative, but makes little difference if substantial investment isn't made in the Summer, but i thought the main board would do that after our EL victory, but i thought that after the CL final and looked what happened.

After Solanke starts, Richy will be back in good graces.

We used to talk about having competition for Kane up front.

Now we have these two jokers competing for time on the pitch.
Fans have short memories.
Solanke was absolutely anonymous for 5 consecutive games before his (latest) injury.
I'd rather a forward missing chances and getting his kit dirty than playing with 10 men every week.

I'd consider dropping RKM, and moving Richie out wider but in no circumstances should Solanke replace Richarlison

Richy was immense in the Europa final, rolled back the years for that one. He also guarantees a base level of fight in the relegation games we’ve had.

However, this season has to be his last with us - this summer window is possibly the biggest we’ve had in theorem era (assuming we stay up) we need to build a squad that’s never done in the shit again
