The more successful we are during a season ironically the bigger the melting is when we drop points.

I am dreading the reaction if we get less than a win against Watford, I hope it won't be gooner standards

It's really sad that some people just cannot enjoy what we have become, I love this team top to bottom and if we don't even make top 4 I know these boys all tried their guts out unlike most of their predecessors in the lillywhite

The Newcastle result and subsequent booing, tells you all you need to know we have a lot of micro penis pussies who can't take the heat.

If we were to win the league this season I'd hope it wasn't our main objective next season.... top four and a cup run in the Champions League with this crop would be tremendous fun.

I think it is good to be apprehensive in some instances, this is one of those - I don't want to think about anything other than top-four until the last 10 games.

For the sake of comparison how do we square up with the last Dark Horses of Tottenham?

Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van Der Vaart, Adebayor
Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Son, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Kane

Walker is probably a bit better than is break out season, but I think we forget how good he was then, winning YPOTY, King's form really dropped off in his final season, probably why he retired but I can't bring myself to say that Vertonghen is better.

2012 BAE vs Rose is a matchup I can't chose, same with Van Der Vaart vs Alli.

Benches:
Cudicini, Dawson, Gallas, Sandro, Huddlestone, Kranjcar, Defoe
Vorm, Wimmer, Davies, Bentaleb, Mason, Chadli, Lamela

Other than Chadli over Kranjcar I can't chose.

Obviously I believe Pochettino is miles better than Redknapp, but I think it is tough to gage at this point.

Not sure if this team is better man for man - but it is better comparatively to the rest of the league, which is all that matters.

No matter what happens in coming years, we will always look back on this season with incredible fondness. Watching this young squad with no expectations at the start of the year grow each week has been an absolute joy. We are witnessing future club legends at the very start of their careers. When it's all said and done, we may achieve more in coming seasons, but this is the one I think most of us will cherish the most.

I am calling it.

Btw I love how we aren't really considered title challengers......and the Scum definitely are

I hope we stay in Leicester's slip-stream until it's too late for anyone to frighten us by saying it's ours to lose.

For more comparisons between now and 2012 see below,
Adebayor x 9 - Kane x 15
Bale x 9 - Alli x 7
Defoe x 8 - Eriksen x 4
Van der Vaart x 7 Lamela x 3
Modric x 3 - Dembélé x 3
Lennon x 3 - Dier x 3
Kaboul x 1 - Son x 2
Assou-Ekotto x 1 Chadli x 2
Pavlyuchenko x 1 Alderweireld x 2
Own Goals x 1 - Walker x 1
Walker x 1 -Mason x 1
-
Carroll x 1

Goals scored at this point: 2011/12 = 44 2015/16 = 44

Cleans sheets at this point: 2011/12 = 9 2015/16 = 8
Goals against at this point: 2011/12 = 25 2015/16 = 19

I think we should take into consideration that 8 of the 25 goals we conceded were in the first two games of the season. If we then took the first two games out of both campaigns those figures would look as such,
Goals against at this point: 2011/12 = 17 2015/16 = 16

Overall: (at this point in the season)
2011/12 P=24 W=15 D=5 L=4 GF= 44 GA=25 GD=+19 Points = 50
2015/16 P=24 W=12 D=9 L=3 GF=44 GA=19 GD=+25 Points = 45

:avbshit: Are we better now? Very difficult to say, it shouldn't be bad to only be 'as good' as that team, they were phenomenal. As has been said before, the league now is, well worse quality wise considerably from 11/12 which was in many was the best Premier League season yet, most goals scored for instance.

Lets just hope no one resigns from an international job :avbpray::avbpray::avbpray::avbpray:

We just love setting ourselves up for a fall don't we.
No we are setting ourselves up to win the title!
When we flog the Woolwich at home soon then maybe a lot more people will realise we are the real deal!
