Couldn't disagree more.
Leadership especially. He's a leader on the pitch, he fights for his team mates, i remember one game last season, there was a bad tackle on someone, Soldado was straight over to the ref, and afterwards, i think gave a sneaky little elbow on the guy that did the bad tackle.
But his overall play is fine. He can hold up the ball and all that, just doesnt seem to get on the end of many chances, and when he does, he fucks it up.
I don't see the positive effect he has had on young players around him like Townsend, Eriksen, Lamela, Holtby etc. If anything he cut a forlorn frustrated figure on the pitch. The opposite. Everything bounced off him and he didn't coordinate our attack force. He didn't gel with any of our players. Wasn't it Paulinho and Ade who set him up for his prem goals in open play? I can't remember the other goals off top of my head. Even Kane didn't strike up a great partnership with him and we were better off with Soldado on the bench.
Shouting and looking hard is not leadership. Remembering one game from last season is reaching. If you couldn't disagree more, and you come up with "I think he did one sneaky elbow" from one game...Thats not exactly a compelling reason for your maxed out level of incredulous disagreement.
It can be argued that his lack of finishing may have ended Lennon and Townsends careers at Spurs. Since prem assists and goals are an important aspect how many wingers are measured. Linking up once or twice a season to create a prem goal is diabolical.
