Roberto Soldado

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

R.I.P. is utterly tasteless. The guy left, he hasn't died.
If anything, this move might restart his career, which had pretty much died during his time with us.

Edit: thanks for removing it.

It's a funny read is this, from the elation and "creaming of pants" euphoria to the entourage of doctor hindsights, all in one thread.

I wish him well don't like hating anyone.
(well almost anyone:)

Bit harsh. I didn't have Soldado down as a horrible racist. Soldado was more likeable, cared about the club and showed gentleman like respect whenever he put that shirt on.

Roberto Soldado’s confidence is at rock bottom after his exit from Tottenham – and it doesn’t look like things are getting any better at Villarreal just yet.

The Spaniard has been unveiled as a Villarreal player after completing a £10million return to La Liga, and said that he ‘wants to go back to being the player he used to be.’

But he hasn’t made a great start to achieving that aim, after he failed to kick a ball into a crowd of fans – twice.

During his unveiling ceremony, Soldado attempted to give a fan a ball as a gift, but showed that he still can’t hit the target by missing the crowd on two occasions.

The ball can be seen being returned to the 30-year-old after his first unsuccessful effort, while the second shot actually lands in the stand above.

Things can only get better from here, right Bobby?
