It's not so much the 'Levy card' as it is that every modicum of so-called news gets greeted with a home spun conspiracy theory only to later spout some utterly hypocritical face-palmer about how "only concrete evidence counts".

All the while being the man behind the classic quote "It doesn't matter if it's true or not [i'm gonna base my argument on it regardless]".

There’s no conspiracy, it was just a theory. People are allowed to have and post their theories on a chat forum. I know you and Harrier Harrier are the self appointed thought police on this forum but I didn’t @ either of you with my post, there was no requirement for you two to decide what is and isn’t acceptable for every post in every thread.

What and you’ve never jumped on anyone else’s post with an alternative opinion?! So we can only post if it’s in agreement with you?!

Look at how many times you’ve twisted the narrative to suit your own agenda?! As Airfixx Airfixx pointed out it’s ok for you to post an opinion, but when someone else has a different take you want ‘concrete evidence’ as if that’s even a possibility!

How many people did you shoot down over Ange’s dismissal including your bizarre take that all the players would mutiny and that Pahlinha was a stupid signing?!

Some of your posts in the past have been clear trolling by your own admission and at times you seem to go out of your way to post the most ridiculous takes on what appear to be pretty obvious circumstances.

You’re full of contradictions so it’s hysterical you’re here taking the moral high ground!

:harrylol:

And sudoku giving you a love rating is just as hysterical! He’s another one that can shoot down someone’s opinion, but doesn’t like anyone else questioning the sense of his own posts! Fragile egos! 😂

I've timestamped where he talks about Bents, here.

He talks highly of him, generally, but it's clear he knows he's limited and will try and work on him.

I just don't think he's got the level above in his scope, tho, that Frank thinks he can pull out of him.

Anyway, we'll see.

I'd still sell and just go for a hard upgrade instead of trying to tease more out of him.

Q. "On Rodrigo Bentancur, you said he can still improve, what areas do you see that he can push on to another level?"

A. "I think one thing I have seen, I am very happy with him as a player and as a character. I think when he plays at his best level, he is a top level as a midfielder here in the Premier League and I probably need to see a little bit more consistency there.

"I also want him to and I told him myself, I want him to a little bit more dictate the game and get on the ball when it’s tough because he’s so good on the ball. He is so composed and so good to get the ball in tight areas and get out of situations. That I would like to see a little bit more, so I think that is the first bit and he can easily add goals to the game, but the more we can control the middle of the pitch with him, the better."

Frank's assessment is pretty spot on, and we might want to ask whether this should be a real concern. Rod can be excellent but he can also drift in and out of a game. Frank must be confident he will get more out of him, and more consistently. At the same time, Archie is coming on well and may compete sooner rather than later for the place Rod occupies, which means he'll have to up his game.

I'm intrigued to see what happens next.

That was long.

I’m sure it was great and all that.

His body has definitely been through it.

Still never been consistent enough, tho, just on a base quality level.

Ah from when he signed to his ACL he was one of the best cm's in the league. He's just never recovered that form. Had a little spell at the end of last season when he looked back to himself, but been pretty pony so far. He never looks to take his man on anymore, which was such a weapon before because he could take out their midfield with a turn and get things forward. Everything with him now is just safe.

I remember motd doing analysis on him one game. They should he would play that round the corner pass first time and you have basically broken through the lines. But we had prime Kane and son then.
