I actually thought atmosphere in the first half was flat and nervy as fuck. 2nd half much better but probably because we were winning. Which isn't ideal to be honest.

Yeah I thought the same really. Although I was pretty much surrounded by cunts, the bloke next to me spent 5 minutes talking to his girlfriend (who was the other side of him)during the game about how it was annoying that he couldn't get reception on his phone to 'check in' on Facebook. Then started going on about some other bollocks after that, don't think he sang once.

What wound me up most was they were obviously season ticket holders aswell, taking up seats that could be taken by other peope who aren't cunts.

Hi all. What a fucking day I've had!!! If you don't follow me on Twitter (which you should be - @ 8colespurs8) and haven't seen my Tweets then I'll quickly explain here.

Cut a long story short, got to Liverpool Street station with my brother greeted by about 100 West Ham fans at least probably more surrounded by police, jumping up and down, beer flying everywhere (cup final day out to say the least).

Then they all got released and all went to the train, bottles flying everywhere. I was on the train with them. Lazio songs, 'running round Tottenham' etc. Got to Seven Sisters (station where loads of Spurs get on) and all the Spurs got pointed to the back of the train. West Ham fans making gas noises.

Get to Bruce Grove and we're told the trains not going any further so off we get. In the middle of the West Ham escort all the way from Bruce Grove station (a good 20 minute walk, more at the pace we were being moved (very slowly)). Mainly the youth lot, Nazi salutes, Lazio songs, 'always look out for eyeties carrying knives, doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo doo', and more. Few adults, one old boy with an Italy flag.

Abusing everyone they saw, few people standing around getting abused 'we pay your benefits' etc. Walked past a couple of Spurs cafes/bars, eventually the Bell and Hare, all the kids getting mouthy and jumping about a bit.

Got to WHL, said to the policewoman next to me (quietly) 'we need to get out, we're Spurs' she goes 'yeah course you are' and laughed. I showed her the background on my phone and she couldn't believe it, brilliant. Slipped out then a load of Spurs turned up, probably the lot just come out from the B&H, kicked off a bit. Saw YidoBuckler YidoBuckler . Then I went into Park Lane.

Sat about 6 seats away from them, kids doing Nazi salutes again, the shit flare, 'can we stab you every week' (imaginative) etc.

That's about it. Atmosphere was average first half, 2nd better, shame it took a goal but what can you do.
I attempted to start the new Dembele song ('my name is Moussa Dembele, I'm better than Pele, I come from a town in Belgium, ANTWERP! when I walk down the street...') but ended up Nicola Berti, which caught on a little bit.

Really pleased with Walker and Dawson today (glad he played), Sandro as always (what's happened to him?!?!), Lloris solid, Dempsey slightly better. Lennon good too. Everyone else good as well

Eventful day to say the least :nawty:

Bring on Liverpool on Wednesday! Bill Nic pre-match if anyone's going.

Carroll should start no matter what, unless he wants to get Falque a start imo... with Ade out with need mobility and guile up-front, far as I've seen that's not really dempsey.
Can we clarify the 'two carrolls' please:

Sham Carroll - stig of the dump ponytail wearing missing link.
Spurs Carroll - left footed wonder twig.

Thx.

The fact that you have to write 'face value' next to £48.00 for a ticket v West Ham so people don't think you're ripping them off tells me everything I need to know about modern football.

The fact that he has a ticket available for such a massive derby game is all you need to know.
