Is there any reason why Chris Powell didn't get the caretaker role ahead of Mason? He has actual managerial experience(albeit not overly successful). Why didn't they have it the other way around : Powell number one, mason number two? You don't even see Powell out of his seat discussing things with Mason during a game, just mason standing alone looking scared

Maybe he knew that it was a hopeless task, or he wouldn't let Levy pick the team !

It's not the selection. It's that when the game starts to go the other way he clearly doesn't have any clue whatsoever how to change it. Not his fault at all.

While Ndombele is clearly much more talented than Winks, I wouldn't pick that lazy waste of space for love nor money. Clearly doesn't want to be at the club, so he can jog on. Just hope we can get most of our money back for the cretin.

So I would have put Rodon in next to Toby where he should have been since Mason was appointed but he’s not a mate is he

Lo Celso was on the bench so could have played a half and N’Dombelly the other

Yes he’s a dud but still miles better than Wanks but again he’s not a mate

Have a read through the match thread and see what the vast majority thought of Mason’s selection and timing of subs and then keep on trying to defend him
