Debatable. But even then, you could argue that numerous previous windows have contributed to what we saw tonight.

perhaps but our midfield and attack are fine, only our defence has issues in terms of player available. This is not equivalent to Poch during the 18 month barron spell. We bought Regulion, Bale, PEH, Doherty, Rodon, Vinnie, easily our best ever transfer window.

I know. But it's a poll on what you'd like. Not what you expect.

And owners do change. I think we have the longest fleecing serving owners in the Premier League. (Although I stand to be corrected)

Yes I'd like the board out for consistent failures, but it is not going to happen because Levy owns the club, so what's the point?

Newcastle fans have wanted Ashley out for over a decade. So what's the point in wishing for it here.

Jose has got to go. He isn’t even a build long term manager, everything he does well is in the first 1-2 seasons. It’s over, Levy made an error. To have this level of attacking players up there with United and City on paper and not be able to attack is insane. It blows my mind how you can take such an abundance of brilliant attacking players and do that to it.

I can except the we have an average defence argument, the attack on the other hand.

Ultimately, Levy appointed Jose after sacking the previous manager. I don't think it was a mistake to sack Poch, but I do think that it was a huge mistake to bring in a manager like Jose to a club like spurs.

His style of football is the opposite to what spurs play, and the fans demand. His history with alienating players, which in turn splits the team and causes issues everywhere across the whole squad. His reliance on spending big on players, against the tradition of the way Levy funds transfer windows.

So ultimately the blame lies with Levy for hiring this fucking portuguese dinosaur, who's on huge money. Especially the way it went sour at his previous clubs.

Fuck it. Sack both the board and the manager.

John, (I’m aware that isn’t your real name)

I haven’t read your OP or any reply. But your thread title just made me vomit. I know that you know that the owners can’t be sacked. The board (at least Daniel and Joe) literally and legally own the club and wider business. You can campaign for them to sell but it’s not going to happen until they want it to.

The *ONLY* option is to sack the manager. And in my opinion the sooner that happens the better.

We can all see that the team is under performing. (Even given the caveat that we have a number of players below par for a top 4 team) You can’t clean the team out so the only viable option is to clear out the management.

I’ve never really taken to the bloke, and now I’m beginning to despise him. Almost as much as you do with Danny Boy.

Do you not think it's justified?

The results so far would suggest otherwise mate. And there's a choice for every viewpoint.
Not this season.

We signed seven players for Jose, all of which were his choice, if the media is to be believed.

The previous season spent £63m on just one player, unheard of under Levy.

We sign one of the most successful managers of all time, paying him £15m a year, again unheard of under Levy.
And we get that load of shite.

I said this in another thread:
No desire, no drive, no passion, no ideas. Boring, tepid cowardly football.
Players looking like they don't care and can't be arsed to do the hard work.
That is all on Jose.
The performance and the style of football are down to Mourinho.

Jose was "begging" for a back up striker (using your words)
He got the back up striker he wanted
He then leaves him on the bench when Harry is injured.
Dreadful treatment of Vinicious.

His selection tonight, and against the Dippers, was baffling.
We were top of the league 6 weeks ago and have won only 2 PL games since then.
That's on Jose, and the players, not Levy.

Levy has backed Jose in every way.
But of course, you'll (or others) say, "B...b....but Levy hired him, so it's his fault"

I could stomach it (just) if we were winning, but to lose without showing any fight and to just lie down and get our tummy tickled is unacceptable.
I could stomach losing if we at least showed some bollocks.

Sorry for the rant, but for one of the very few times in over forty five years of following Spurs I'm really, really pissed off.
