I don’t blame you mate and I had to be careful after being banned from all of the political threads!

I didn’t see the game so were Celtic as bad as
the 7-1 suggests?
I had a notification that I'd been mentioned in a post - and it brought me to this one. Looks like you've had second thoughts and edited the post to remove my username.

That's a shame because, being a tart, I'm always partial to a compliment.

Aberdeen still 100% in the league. Playing Celtic next and then a cracking looking midweek tie vs Rangers on 30 October. That will be a heck of an atmosphere.

Aberdeen away at Celtic yesterday. Went 2-0 down after some horrendous defending, but came back for a very decent draw.

No idea how they are doing this with the team and squad they have, but long may it continue. Still second to Celtic in the league but only on goal difference. Home to Dundee Utd and The Artists Formerly Known As Rangers in the next two.

On a side note, I’ve seen a number of pics of the travelling support yesterday and noticed a large number of old faces I’ve not seen at matches for years. Carrying a bit more timber now, but still sporting the branded gear and still looking very handy. As the team try to come back, it looks like the Casuals are too.

Soon be back to the Fergie days!

RM watch out! ⚠️

Yes I was joking but I remember watching that final against RM and thinking surely not……
Ten year old me was there. Soaked to the skin. Thinking that being the best was normal.

Aberdeen being the best side in the world, hot on the heels of Spurs winning a couple of FA Cups. Have had that idea violently kicked out of me in the forty odd years to follow.

I was brought up in a town in Northamptonshire in the 60/70s where the vast majority of fans were auld firm and my Dad was from Aberdeen so loved that!

Aberdeen have been eating their porridge haven't they?

Absolutely insane given the resources they've got. That Rangers manager is almost certainly on borrowed time.

Just back from the match. Place was bouncing like I’ve not seen for decades. Police have basically given up trying to stop pyro, so it was going off before the match started. And then Aberdeen ripped into Rangers in a rather indelicate fashion. Battered them. The scoreline hardly respective of how much of a gap there was between the sides.

Also enjoyed hearing, for the first time in many years, one of the finest chants to exist towards the yellow card happy referee - “you’re just a cunt with a whistle, a cunt with a whiiiiistle”. Lovely.

Lots of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” towards the Hun manager too. This may well be correct.

Watched the highlights after our game last night and the place was a throw back to when Aberdeen were flying back in the day. Raucous atmosphere. My mate scored the first goal so delighted for him. What a few weeks he’s had.
