Ex-Spurs Player Serge Aurier

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Levy really is a don. The exclusivity clause he made PSG sign, ensuring no-one could hijack, its just great stuff allround genius.
I don't think we could have a better chairman really.
So excited to see Aurier play, and Davinson too... Our already mean defense is looking ridiculous now.

Reading a few days ago that Sanchez also played DM earlier in his youth career. His power, pace and passing ability he also potentially make a monster midfielder.

Feeling more excited about this as time goes on, and with Trippier's withdrawal, we'll see him quick

Not that the money seems to matter much these days but I'm getting an unhappy Walker out for 50 and Serge in for 23, looks like we've had a coup there

With Trippier obviously not really ready to play V Burnley and now sent home by England injured, who have said he hadn't trained for a week, this looks a vital purchase.
We could be relying on an unfit Trippier for Everton and Dortmund or even poor KWP - although I'm not doubting his ability. He would have been targeted by both like he was at Newcastle.

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of this "clause".

How would it even work until we'd agreed a price. Absolute bullshit.

Getting £18m for Wimmer who's had 13 starts In the PL in 2 seasons.
Just think, it's £8m less than Sakho who had 53 PL starts for Liverpool , 8 for Palace , 111 starts for PSG and 28 for France. In his prime.

Me too. The club (and seemingly Aurier himself) are coming out with the right noises given the somewhat-controversial nature of the transfer. Essentially, we took a risk in pursuing him but the payoff is that we've brought in a player who could have otherwise been attracting the mega clubs if it wasn't for his legal troubles - at a fucking good price, no less. Hopefully, he'll remember that Spurs were willing to take a punt on him and will repay the favour.

He'll have the fans on side pretty quickly too: those pacey runs down the right wing will get bums off seats - and we all know that endears you to a player pretty quickly.

£23m in this summers market is a real snip isn't it. If his head is good he's a £45m full back based on movers and shakers this year.

Well worth the risk/ reward, I hope he grows to genuinely love the club and vice versa.

Best of luck Serge, leave nothing behind and become a real star
