Player Sergio Reguilón

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Maybe he wins the lottery again and finds a club willing to match his current wages.

It's been a rough year for him. He lost his girl and a chance to get a permanent deal with Utd on stupid money.
Thing is who and how much are we going to spend on a backup to destiny? May be keep reg for one season and get a backup RB for next season. No way we are buying 5/6 players who are all first team ready.

Antonee Robinson and Tyrick Mitchell are decent options.

Reguilon isn't in our plans at all, its pretty clear.

I'd rip their arm off for £5m+.
We have to write off some of our losses to expedite player turnover. I assume Reggie currently has a book value approaching zero after amortisation, so he is one of the easier ones to shift if we can address his salary.

The fact he was prepared to go on loan to a Club like Brentford, following his career arc of Madrid, Spurs, Man U, makes me feel he is one of those players who sees himself as fortunate enough to have earned a fortune without ever cementing himself in a team but still wants to play footy rather than train with the academy. Fingers crossed.

And I want to be 29 again!

I had to check it wasn't April 1st. Hope it's true, even if I'm sure it would be on the cheap.

Barcelona interested in Sergio Reguilon

Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas:

Barcelona have been making inquiries about Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon.

They are understood to be exploring the conditions of a potential deal, with just a year left on his Spurs contract.

Spurs are open to selling Reguilon. He has not been part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
He spent the first half of last season on loan at Manchester United and then the second half at Brentford.

Edited - he's still with us, let us lift his thread again.

Reggies staying is not a bad thing when we didn't buy a new player in this position. We are thin at LB options, and he may very well be as good an option as Spence and Ben Davies.

If you are able to see through the polarized discussions, he is a decent back/wingback, though nowhere near Udogie in quality.

With his speed not the worst fit for Angeball either?
