We don’t know that and in the game in pre-season where I saw him playing left he looked uncomfortable and struggled in a way he didn’t on the right. Maybe he can be taught left back but not all full backs can play both roles.

People need to let go of ' Real have a buyback' yeah well Co'op do cash back! The bloke is as dumb as a rock. Looks like a cat chasing its tail. With the highline Ange Bling we play, chucking in Reguilon will guarantee us getting hammering.Looked pretty fine in pre season to me. Looked fine against Everton too.
Reguilon hasn't looked fine in a Spurs shirt for 4 years. This is a player who lost his place to fucking Ryan Sessegnon.
Zero future here. Shit left back. Even worse inverted full back. Shit footballer.

I thought he was great in pre-season on the right but the game I saw on the left he didn’t look right at all.
Generally watching football down the years it’s better to have a 5/10 player in their natural role than a 7/10 player out of position.
We really should have bought a left back this summer.
He's crap.Edited - he's still with us, let us lift his thread again.
Reggies staying is not a bad thing when we didn't buy a new player in this position. We are thin at LB options, and he may very well be as good an option as Spence and Ben Davies.
If you are able to see through the polarized discussions, he is a decent back/wingback, though nowhere near Udogie in quality.
With his speed not the worst fit for Angeball either?

So will Spence. Ange is a lot like Pep in that he wants a small squad full of versatile players, not a big one where it’s a fixed two for every position. That way it keeps all the players engaged and readyDragusin will play a lot of games as we will have a lot of game. Last thing we need is to overplay VDV and get him injured. To me that is just a bad option.

I like our depth way more than last year, I have faith they suit what the manager wants more that the Emerson’s Hojbjerg, Skipp’s GLC’s, Solomon’s Etc. still far from the finished article but a definite positive step forward.Might be true but Pep mostly has player of high enough quality to be more versatile and doesn’t suffer from Sod’s Law where in our positions with less depth we get injuries. We might be fine and Udogie plays 60 games no issue but I have seen enough times where by we have square pegs rounds holes, a bunch of injures and that weakness is then fully exploited by the opposition teams.
Just thought it was worth posting the above from 4 years agoI don't care that Real can cuck us at any moment, the fact we can replace Ben Davies makes me very happy.
