Look forward to seeing all these 'fans' desperate to see Ange out being back here in 18 months time, blaming the new manager for a lack of consistency and blaming them for being either being too defensive or too attacking.

Always the managers fault isn't it, changing them every 18 months is definitely the way forward.

We probably will, because Levy will probably get it wrong again.
But that's not an excuse to stick with this wrong choice either.
We went through Ramos to get to Redknapp.
We went through AVB to get to Poch.
We might have to go through 2 or 3 to get to the next coach that can push us on again.
This one is not that man, no matter how long you give him. In fact, the longer you keep him the more damage he will do and thr harder it is for the next person to fix it.

What have any of those managers achieved, and what's happened the moment we hit a tough run? It's all the same.

We need to give a manager the time to get their vision across. Do you think it's just a coincidence that these managers have success everywhere but their time at Spurs?

We will lose to MC away and this should not provoke more anguish but then we have 2 home matches v Roma and Fulham which are very winnable.
The Poll is that Ange should not be sacked now and so instead of the minority that want that going on with the argument accept it and let’s be more positive.
I am not even going into the Levy thread until it dies down.
I don't think any game is 'very winnable' after we lost two of the most 'winnable games' we were likely to have at this stage this season!!

As I pointed out, in MODERN football, Spurs have won 2 milk cups.

Yes, they were successful when Football was a bunch of blokes who smoked and drank beer at half time.
...well anything's worth a try right now!! 🍺🚬🍻🚬

Jol took us from a bottom half team of hasbeens, the would view not being in a relegation battle, to genuinely challenging the champions league spots for 2 seasons. All whilst playing the best football we'd played since El Tel.
And he did that on a very small budget at a time when United, Woolwich, Chelsea and Liverpool owned the top 4.
Ramos very nearly destroyed all that. His turgid football and rapid decline in league form led to Keane and Berbotov racing for the exit. Had he been given the season, like so many of you probably demanded, we'd have gone down.
Redknapp came in and took that mess to the Champions league, stuffed the holders, finished 4th again the next season.
Then AVB, like Ramos nearly destroyed it.
Then Poch came and pushed us further on than Redknapp with top 4 finishes, 2 consecutive title bids, a Champions league final, 2 league Cup finals, the best football we've seen since the 80s, if not the 60s..

Mourinho wasn't the right replacement.
Nono wasn't the right replacement.
Conte for a while looked like the real deal. But that went sour for many unique reasons.

All managers have a shelf life. When he poch it was the right thing, despite his prior success.
Now we need to keep searching for the next one that can keep us competitive

Ange is NOT that man. He's taking us backwards.

Edit: I'm on my phone and there's clearly spelling errors I can't be bothered to fix.

Ill forgive the spelling errors, I'm a nice guy like that.

With this, Ramos is the only one seen as a genuine success as he won a trophy really isn't he, in the modern football world?

I don't think Ange is taking us backwards, I don't think theres really any proof of that. If we'd won Sunday we'd be 3rd, in a league cup QF and won 3 out of 4 Europa games... None of these convos we'd be taking place.

Whoever replaces Ange, I hope he makes you even more miserable

I don't view a low level cup win with no real prize, but finishing low in the table with worsening results as a success though.
And I guarantee you nobody at the board level at football clubs do either. Not just ENIC.

If he stays there will be trouble.

If he goes it will be double.

So, come on and let me know.

Should I cool it, or should I blow.

Levy would take the extra Europa games next season that a League Cup win this season would deliver.

He will have a semi on thinking about all the merch and food he can sell.

Would be much better to win the ropey league than the league cup as it gets CL next season and kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

However, I think the performance against Galatasary the other night should show all those arrogant fans that thought we were favourites the reality. We will have to play a full strength side every game when we have real opposition. We won't play minnows like Carrierbag and Frenchkavos etc in the later stages (if we get there)

When we do that, especially away, we'll suffer on the Sunday.

Levy will have that angle covered.

I'm guessing the only way many of the current squad's wages go up is if Spurs qualify for the Champions' League.

It's a win win for Levy.

He sells hot dogs and tat either way.
