I'm not a fan of Postecoglou, but he has a system that looks very good at times. What's to say that with another season of matches and practices that players don't get more consistent? Some help on defense and a keeper to push Vicario at the transfer window might help salvage the season. We are not that young a side so that is a rather nonsensical argument.
All half decent teams can look.good at times.
Postecoglou has not overseen anything that looks like consistently good and the losses to Ipswich and Palace, at times when they would have had fragile confidence are beyond belief.
There are no excuses but sacking the bloke now is the answer or we wait, because we need a transfer window in which we see a couple of players, and any managerial uncertainty will make that less likely.
But I don't see success under Postecoglou and for me that would be a trophy or top 4, or undeniable progress. None likely ot in evidence.
We ain’t finishing 14thSay we finish 14th and win the Europa league.
Is that a successful season in the history books??
Do we then have “our Tottenham back”???
Trophies for show. Champions league places for dough. Win the EL we get both!!!
I dont get why some fans are so squemish about sacking a manager. If you could upgrade on a player you would. Brennan Johnson has been here as long as Ange but its obvious he can be improved upon. This isnt like sacking a manager decades ago, the footballing set up should remain the same. They're all coaches really, not managers.
Alonso available in the summer…

He’d get beat of Southampton in his 3rd game that be it, sack the c#@t he’s useless German league is fucking shit ……..He won’t be available to us mate
And even if by some miracle he was, he’d go the same way all of our managers have gone under ENIC
Already had themHypothetical conversations down the pub must be fun with you there.
Snog marry avoid Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johannsen.
“Well you ain’t going to pull any of those 3 are you”
End of conversation.
Shouldn’t that be “we were successful” or do you not associate yourself with the dim and distant past?As I pointed out, in MODERN football, Spurs have won 2 milk cups.
Yes, they were successful when Football was a bunch of blokes who smoked and drank beer at half time.

Stay , see it out til the end because if it’s not Postecoglou we’ll having the same boring threads in 18months time about someone else but with the same bell ends moaning.
Farmer’s League mate. He’d get beat of Southampton in his 3rd game that be it, sack the c#@t he’s useless German league is fucking shit ……..![]()
He's in his 90th year mate.I just wonder if Burkinshaw would ever consider coming back in a David Pleat-esque role of Football consultant...
I'm sure half the board have never heard of him, but in terms of history, and continuity, even as an ambassadorial role I'd love to see him back at the club in SOME capacity.
(Not that he'd necessarily WANT to come back!)
Or maybe because more people voted on here to keep him even if they are not the most prolific posters. So we should keep him....Not because he's doing a great job or even showing signs of competence ......But because Eli of the Fighting Cock finds some threads a bit boring.

Fair comment. I just get the feeling his best days are probably behind him.And the last link to us being a club that set out to win things.
