We need to get away from this anti-Levy lobbying.

Is there anyone who thinks we should not be sitting 3rd today, after having a home game against Ipswich, newly promoted and previously winless FFS?

The worst fcuking result for a long long time but not down to Levy, unless we are going to trace it all back.

As to sacking Postecoglou now, you may be right but mostly because it might leave us destabilised and partly because it's a period of PL mediocrity

But for me I have dwindling confidence that Postecoglou is the answer. Too many sh!t results.

Let's have a look who he could bring off the bench to change the game shall we?

Werner on loan. Levy very much has a part to play. Now you have to trace it back to him because it has happened to every manager. The have to operate with one hand tied behind their backs.

I'm not solely convinced on the manager either but we cant keep changing them, the same thing will happen with the next guy.

Lmao give it 4 games or so when we are bottom half still having lost to City, Chelsea and Liverpool. Then try the poll again.

People still in the deluded stage. I was pro keeping him in till the end of the season but Ipswich makes his position untenable.

He isn’t up to it. Not at this level. Man can’t even look a journalist in the eye let alone manage premier league footballers.
Do you have any confidence in the club getting a decent replacement in if he was sacked this week? I personally don’t.

Shock 18 months into a managers reign we're calling for their head.

Not like we've been here for the last 5 years. Clearly changing them works.

Say we finish 14th and win the Europa league.

Is that a successful season in the history books??
Do we then have “our Tottenham back”???

Trophies for show. Champions league places for dough. Win the EL we get both!!!

Yes. If he won the Europa league he's the most successful Spurs manager of the modern era.

I don't hate modern football as some people but this phenomenon of "Top 4" being considered as better than trophies is one of those things I really hate.

Doesn’t matter who’s in the job, Levy will break him.
Levy breaks every manager, including the most successful in the game.
No trophies, manager revolving door and now a leisure complex in which we are anchor tenants.
There is only one common denominator here, yet if he goes the future is owned by bent money and hedge funds.
Globalised football ownership beckons and we, the fans, will finally become irrelevant, Covid proved that an empty stadium still has a global audience, paying billions to tune in.
They say football is a microcosm of society, and you can see the state of that.
See you in a couple of weeks.

If you offered me that now I would take it. 4th isn’t a trophy.

Not sure how old you are but 91/99/07 seasons all felt like mid table mediocrity and cup matches were the “thing”.

However
91 we had Gazza and linekar.
99 ginola
07 Keane and Berbatov. Ledley at the back too.

All had “it”.

This current squad needs a player or two to properly step up. Someone who will come up with something when the chips are down.

It’s probably where Kane failed most in retrospect.

Honestly we sack Ange, Levy should go to America and get on his hands and knees and beg Pochettino to come back.

What will most likely happen is we will get an unsuitable defensive manager who winds up the fanbase who is then sacked before we try an attacking manager again.

We just need to strap in for the ride. Second season. He will win a trophy.

It’s what he does ffs!!!

I'd take it. But the problem for Ange would be if we do at anytime hit 14th then he wouldnt get the chance to go and win the Europa. AVB, Ramos, Poch, Nuno were all still in Europe when sacked. Levy has sacked managers in semis and finals of cup competitions.

This is a key one for me.

Apart from Solanke we haven’t bought any players that have actually had a notable amount of minutes in the PL.

It’s essentially the same team as last year yet we’re expecting a significantly different outcome

It's a thing with ENIC. They expect good results in the short term despite not backing the manager in the right way to achieve it

Admittedly I can’t read Daniels football mind. He’s a mystery that man. Who knows what enters his head when he enters hotspur way.

Although I can 100% say he’s always looking for a deal and saving a few quid. I can definitely read that part of his mind.

Fans would take it. Unfortunately the ownership would want 4th as its more prize money.

If what Paul O Keefe is saying then it's all about sliming the wage budget and costs to attract further investment. January could be very disappointing.

Not seen that. Have we had to refinance the stadium at higher interest rates?

Or are we just struggling to be able to raise money for hotels etc with the current market of higher rates and higher construction costs?

Bet Daniel wasn’t too pleased with the budget either. These increased NIC payments are going to hurt businesses everywhere.
Especially when you pay your employees so much money!

we can still win the league
if we win 27 games in row = 81 points + 16
