I'm not sold on Frank at all. Just think he'll be another Nuno. Nuno is cooking this year at Forrest and proven himself to be a very competent manager but the fit at Spurs was all wrong. I feel like Frank could be similar.

Iraola feels more like Poch. It'll be that high intensity press but just far more balanced and tactically adoptable than Ange. Frank's style falls more into the Nuno category imo. I think we need an attacking style of play for it to work long term!
Yeah i see what you are saying. Oddly, IMV anyway, Frank is a little bit still un-known because he has had what he has had to work with at Brentford and stability is probably their go-to to keep them in the Prem and at a respectable position. They'll want to push on but don't have the might to do it.

He's done a good job, and I would'nt mind listening to him a few times a week at press conferences, and boy i bet he is a good coach and the players would really buy in to him - I just wonder if he is not quite the caliber to take up at Spurs.

A far sight better than Ange, of that there is no doubt. He's done an excellent job at Brentford.

Sorry to break it to anyone who is still dreaming of a Poch return but its never happening under Levy. I see the bookies have him priced up 11/2, but in my head its at least a 100/1 shot. Let me explain why.

It was an absolute penalty kick to bring back Poch in the Summer of 2023. The fans were singing his name for the last 10 games of the season. He was the obvious candidate and wanted to return. He was available and probably would have convinced Kane to stay. The stars had aligned. It was a no brainer! Yet we didn't bring him in.... Whats changed in the last 2 years for Levy to change his mind? Poch went to Chelsea and did his reputation no good there. He's also now managing another team so its more complicated/expensive to get him. There isn't a hope of Levy even considering him for an interview. If he didn't bring him in during the Summer of 2023 then he never will!

We all love to dream of happy endings but this is just a non-runner. It is never happening. Sorry to break it to anyone who genuinely thinks there is a chance!

Him and Levy actually get on, Poch has issues with other members of the board namely Cullen and Caplehorn.

Also not forgetting if Lange is still here, he might try to get him in for the Danish connection.

Tin hat theory time from me

After seeing the pic of Poch and Levy at a cafe in London, and it being widely determined by the detectives in our fanbase that it had to have been taken after Summer 2024 (when that particular cafe opened)

I’m wondering whether maybe the reason we haven’t sacked Ange yet is because Levy is waiting until next year for the end of Poch’s USA contract? I’m guessing he would be reluctant to get rid of Ange just yet if that’s what he’s waiting for?
