Please NO! Farioli was in pole position for the title in the Eredivisie. 1 point in front of PSV on de 33th round. After round 33 it Ajax was second with 1 point behind PSV.
The playstyle of Farioli is boring and background as a psychologist (and goalie ). He made a lot of roulation changes during the season and the fans of Ajax are not disappointed that he has left now.
Edit: his playstyle is made of a stable defense. At Ajax he played with a 41 year old (Dutch) goalkeeper who led the defense.
Doesn’t sound like the coach we need. Think better options in the PL but paratici does like to dip into his homeland a lot.

Apparently Farioli plays a 4-3-3 with a high defensive line and uses inverted full backs.

Is it possible to experience PTSD when you're still experiencing the traumatic event.

No, fucking, thank you.

De Zerbi's got Marseille into the CL and is saying he 100% wants to stay next season. Marseilles are a mad club with an absolute tool (Longoria) of a President, which managers continually struggle to work with, so De Zerbi could still walk. He would probably be the most evolutionary option to Ange and would mean a degree of continuity within the academy coaching etc.

No, never said it was.

But still, he's performing in line with their budget and will achieve as good a finish as they usually tend to get. I don't buy the idea he's "rubbish in the league" given what's available to him.

The point I wanted to make, was that he may be falling in line with Palace's standards, but if he comes to Spurs, he won't be dealing with a squad of 25+ year old experienced veterans; he will have to get a tune out of a group of players, with a significant number of them being young, with very limited experience (Bergvall, Gray, Dragusin, VDV, Sarr, Udogie, Moore, Johnson, Kinsky, Spence, Yang, Vlahovic).

Building a young squad, from the ground up takes a very different skill set vs inheriting a squad of experienced players in their prime.

He's lost 11 games this season and won a first ever FA Cup for Palace.
The season we took Pochettino he lost 12 games with Saints.

I'm not sure why people are downplaying Glasners achievements this year?

It seems like what some posters on here want is someone that:

- Can develop youth
- Plays attacking football
- Can excel beyond expectations
- Proven at a big club
- Consistently gets results
- Champions league pedigree

Unless we can clone Jurgen Klopp, why would any manager that meets all these requirements want to come to the current train wreck at N17?

Agree. It does seem that many fans don't know what they want.

Do you want to develop a young team over many seasons; or buy established players ang get immediate results? Clearly, the latter is not possible for Spurs since they cannot attract (or will pay for) top talent.

So, just like we did under Poch, we have to get young players and develop them. This is not an attractive prospect for "elite" coaches who want immediate success (e.g. Pep, Conte, Mourinho); and it seems it is not an attractive prospect for the fans, who have tasted life in the top 4, and will accept nothing less.
